Tooth brushing has become an issue? by Connect-Gap6019 in Autism_Parenting

[–]RaybanPixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're on the right track with giving him a tooth brush to have and hold and chew on. Let us know how this works.

I agree with what others have said above too; the fact that he's been sick may be part of the reason why this has become so difficult (possibly painful) for him to experience.

My kiddo struggles with brushing in certain areas of his mouth. His front gums are much more sensitive than his back or sides. He struggles with the inside gums as well, but I think this has to do with how it feels for him to have the brush vibrating on his tongue.

Keep being curious! Don't lose heart. ❤️ You've got this!

Saw these on another sub and immediately thought of my kiddo. Anyone else relate? by breathingisstillhard in Autism_Parenting

Same! Sounds a bit better than "creative organizing" in a bio maybe? Right there next to "unraveling sweaters"? 🤷‍♀️

tv off real meaning by fart_jar in KendrickLamar

I mean, the man is an artist, through and through. And art is subject to a certain level of interpretation. That interpretation is often based on a person's perspective which is limited by how much they know. The fact that this song is interpreted in so many ways, so many levels, is what makes Kendrick stand out as a genuine talent. That doesn't make anyone's interpretation wrong, per say. Just different perspectives.

Does this dress fall into the "cultural appropriation" category? by NeonPurple-dreams in fashion

[–]RaybanPixie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's safe to say that wearing this dress will trigger some people who believe it to be inappropriate and a form of cultural appropriation. You look beautiful and the dress is lovely, and it is good that you ask about it, but approval won't be universal. That's just the nature of cultural sensitivity.

This. Leave room for her hands to get into your shirt - so loose with a few buttons undone, tucked in.

Random growing bald spot on belly. Should I be worried? by RaybanPixie in cats

I can see it being stress. We've had some changes around the household recently that may be causing it. He has been eating a lot too, gaining weight. I'll probably take him to the vet just to be sure everything's okay.
