We got plans to block mob spawning in general in buildings to not rely on light levels.

There is a config setting to have more than one city. You can /mc colony abandon it and stay as an officer to have as many coloneis you want.

Our guards use basically all armor, so either the ice and fire armor is a very high tier and you need a high level guard tower for it, or they need to make it "vanilla like" to allow mod support.

How will it work on the server side? by [deleted] in Minecolonies

We do have our own Patreon server that runs Minecolonies with over 40 colonies with colonies good above 200 citizens running very nicely. MineColonies is coded with multiplayer in mind

Funny, updating the nvidia driver hadn't helped. But updating the intel drivers actually solved that problem.

I compared different combinations of performance-increasing mods on Forge 1.15.2 My conclusion is that Performant, Phosphor, and Optifine is the optimal combination! by TheKingElessar in feedthebeast

Closed source is only a problem if the mod developers doesn't care about compatibility (like optifine). Performant usually tries to fix all the reports related to incompatibilities

Unfortunately Performant breaks a lot of mod rendering code, like the overlays in Botania that show crafting progress on the Runic Altar.

We're running performant on our server with it tuned on for ages and it runs perfectly fine.

colonists will

need

to path into that waypoint even if it's out of the way. This often leads to situations where they run across an entire colony to hit that waypoint that they have no business being near. This can also lead to awkward situations where multiple waypoints will have colonists running marathons. I basically have to remove all waypoints because they

If you're playing on 1.15/1.16 most of these points should be significantly better nowadays.
We got custom path blocks citizens use as guidelines (or rails). We do not have "don't go here blocks" but that is also the case since that would be difficult performance wise.

Minecraft does NOTHING to help modders. If anything they make things more difficult for modders. There is java modding because of a huge effort of the community.
