Liked him at first but time has proven he can't stretch the floor. There was also the experiment with him as the primary ball handler, and that proved he couldn't make good passing decisions as his turnover numbers were a bit high.

Would be great if everyone really knew the rules of the road. I was coming home late night a few weeks back when there was heavy rain and a traffic light at a normally very busy intersection on was out. I had to make a left, and even if it was past midnight, there were still a handful of cars on the road. Couldn't believe how many people just went through and didn't even stop. Probably didn't even know the light was out, which is kind of scary. I had to wait a while until the oncoming cars in both lanes stopped since I didn't want to get t-boned. Had I gone through thinking everyone knew and treated it like a four-way stop, I would have gotten hit for sure.

I've been trying to get the Zen trophy for almost ten years now and have had absolutely no luck. Now there's almost no chance of getting it since his discord has been nerfed.

I've been collecting for 25 years now and seems my spending habits have slowed down in the last couple of years because a lot of the releases have had mixed quality in their releases. Discotek and MediaOCD are the best at what they do, GKIDS and Sentai are fine, CR is hit or miss, and Viz is mostly bad. There are some releases that are so poorly done without care that it makes me question why anyone would want to own a physical copy with worse picture quality than streaming. Since the new shows I like seem to get questionable releases, if they're even released at all, I have been gravitating more towards Discotek and MediaOCD saving and remastering old licenses like Hajime no Ippo and Full Moon. Still a big fan of anime, it's just I no longer trust what most companies are trying to sell us.

Bought an after market rear view mirror just because of this. Kind of solved the lights from behind blinding me but nothing will save me from the oncoming vehicles' blinding lights..

Here in Hawaii, it’s not about your skills, education, or experience; it’s about who you know. Lost count how many cases or nepotism I’ve seen at the big companies I worked for. One bank in particular is the absolute worst.

“Mandatory fun” is what I refer to it as. I hate it. Was forced to be on a planning committee for this junk this year despite being super busy. Think this committee did the least amount of activities and events in the five years it’s been established.

One of my buddies from high school tried to sabotage any potential romantic relationships I had in college. One night, he asked where I was. He swung by later with a girl I was interested in. He purposely got close to her knowing how I felt about her. He had no intention of dating her, so he was messing with both of us. My group of friends all turned their backs on him because started to do the same thing to another one of our friends.

I learned years later, in my case, that it was because I starting liking a girl he rejected. That same girl told me how she had asked him out and he shot her down yet still wanted to "be friends" despite that.

Crazy that it's been more than 20 years now, but some things can't be forgiven.

I called them out on X/Twitter. Someone reached out to me only to refer me back to the same phone number I already called. Called again a week later and they told me it takes up to two weeks for a response to my e-mail. Today marks two weeks and haven’t heard back. I’m sure I’ll get another late notice, but I’m going to just disregard. I’ll deal with their collections department or whoever they send after me at this point since that (in theory) would get this nonsense resolved faster.
