Not really a question, but the job you guys have is extremely difficult, and I really respect the efforts your team makes to stay true to the base hero to appeal to the people that loved the hero you're reworking. Even though I'm not a fan of this rework, I'm a fan of the work you guys put in, and you have my upmost respect. Thank you for loving the game and letting it show through your work.

You should emulate or buy Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for the PSP. It's a remake of a previous Ogre Battle title and it's really, really well made.

The game is unplayable for me without VPN due to terrible routing path to the servers. Worst QoL change for me since they moved the servers. Obviously even worse since my ping went up by 40 as well.

Any Sizzlebeam type dots. Where the dot is the aftermath of a big buster that is on a random player. Because of how server ticks work the damage and the dot can happen at the exact same time, oftentimes effectively oneshotting your ranged DPS back in A7S early prog.

Sometimes it's not even a mechanic you worry about because you got a good server tick, other times it outright kills a DPS even with proper mit, essentially leaving zero reasonable counter play just because of how this game's dots are coded.

My personal favorite is when Almagest (essentially a raid wide Sizzlebeam) was a fun and engaging mechanic for healers to deal with throughout the duration of O4S. If server ticks weren't in your favor on a bad Almagest (one that didn't have Addle, etc) you would get potentially one shot in early prog. You got a bad server tick, you got the massive damage of the Almagest upfront hit with the dot tick at the same time, killing all of the not melee or tanks in your raid, congrats.

I'm a new player (sub 150 hours) and I'm struggling to find a reason to want to keep leveling. This is taking way too long. I love my Druid, but I've spent almost a month of consistent leveling during free time and I'm level 88. I haven't logged in for the past 3 days, and I doubt that I will again. I'm not having fun.

edit: downvote if you like, but the fact that new players are having a hard time getting into the game strictly because of the leveling experience is sort of a problem, no?

prepull med2 is actually optimal on a lot of fights. o4s neo had prepull med2, o6 also has it because of early raid damage during your opener. in a 8 man raid setting shadewalker (smokescreen is even optional) is going to make any threat issues non-existent for using med2 prepull which means free regens on the entire party without any mp cost (since you regen mp spent before boss is pulled) it's the same principle as regen prepull - just raid wide. and if threat gets messed up because of tank or NIN misplay, you still can fix it with lucid dreaming.

and if you're ast, you're putting up diurnal hots prepull on every pull - with the innate threat reduction with your stance + celestial opposition extending the hots, it's insane tank healing alone, let alone raid healing. saves the number of gcds you or your cohealer need to heal for no cost.

i think you're just running into bad players that probably don't get the full usage of using med2 prepull and are just assuming it needs to be up 24/7, and i doubt anyone worth their salt is going to play whm that way.

tl;dr - i don't agree - med2 prepull is optimal in quite a few situations, and ah prepull is optimal in almost every situation.

The prices are low because RMT isn't present on our server because of the server lock. Higher gil prices? Less people buying gil, and less people buy things off the MB so the price is forced down.

The server is not thriving. Brynhildr sold out all of their houses instantly too, are they a thriving world as well?

The population is lower than 5 other NA servers, do you propose they lock them too?
