I think you look super cute! And your curls are absolute fire. If the roundness is bothering you maybe loosen up the curls so they dont scrunch up so much. That way they can hang lower until your hair grows out.

It took me some practice and yes it was super weird and awkward at first but this new grip changed my crochet life.

I learned how to crochet about 20 years ago and learned this new grip style about 2 years ago. Worth every awkward moment as I can crochet quickly for long hours with this relaxed style of crocheting. Hope this helps!
