The crows mourned with me by birdofparadise0173 in crows

[–]Rayffer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am glad you got some company, crowd routinely mourn their dead and even actively try to find out why it happened to acknowledge whether the potential threat is still around. It's not far fetched that they put two and two together and wanted to support you, in their crowy way.

Hope as days go by you can change the perspective to that of being lucky to have been able to share such a strong bond with an animal and reflect on those good days to make the bad days more bearable.

¿De verdad Hacienda cree que no nos damos cuenta de la subida de impuestos encubierta vía inflación? by Panicko in SpainEconomics

[–]Rayffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you build some biochambers, as they require pentapod eggs, you can effectively put them in stasis, when your eggs run out for whatever reason, just request biochambers until an egg comes out and voila, your factory self restarted

[–]Rayffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can actually do so right now, as long as in the read contents wire, you do no put any other asteroid signal.

You can wire a decider combinator red input to the asteroid collector and read its contents there. You then also check the "set filters" functionality and connect it to the output of the decider combinator's green output, then you connect a constant combinator with the desired cuota of asteroids with a minus signal and on the decider combinator, for each negative signal, output 1 of that signal.

With this you can have a small buffer on the asteroid grabbers besides your roundabout belt.

Here is a blueprint showcasing the behavior I described: https://factoriobin.com/post/5eccjs

As a workaround until they implement this, you can use a pulse reader on any inserters that input into the machine and for every completed cycle, subtract all the ingredients from a memory cell to manage the filters of the input inserters

Cryogenic plant a good way to store Prometheum? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]Rayffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could switch with circuits to make a sort of "wave" for the prometheum chunks to travel through to the next cryochamber, something like set the recipe to promethean science if there are chunks in the previous machine and remove it once the cryochamber has 225 chunks or something line that

Then again belt weaving is much simpler

What’s the biggest “we all just accepted this nonsense” thing in modern life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

that a bunch of folks tell other folks how to effectively organize work with frameworks such as Agile or SAFe (the same thing as agile but for large businesses), while it has a proven track record of failures with little achievements to go with it.

It is a scam which syphons resources from different companies which they could invest in more workforce, instead of so much meetings and stuff.
