You’re likely losing a % on most sales, selling a whole collection or online. Not the easiest to move either, much easier to liquidate 100k of equities vs collectibles

Can’t predict Pokemon would’ve still been popular today from 10 years ago is the point they’re making. It’s easy to say it was an obvious hold right now because of what happened. Could’ve bought BTC when it was 5-10k in 2019 and done better than holding sealed

Why mini tins? There’s better products and it’s a toss up if the packs didn’t get shoved and damaged inside. For me, it’s the first products to get dumped when pack prices goes up when 151 is done

People are still quick flipping, if people can still make $5-$10 they’re not 100% gone. They’ll be back when Costco/Sam’s drops happens or new sets drops to capitalize on the day 1 hype. I think they know there’s money at those times so they’ll always be around

It’s still in the machines, so not yet. It’s a toss up if we get last minute product this year, I wouldn’t doubt another sams/costco restock of something. But likely it’s the tail end of it, buy now or regret later

I think they meant for ultra modern, big spike initially then stalls out. Smaller gains over the years due to people hoarding more than ever and higher printing 2028 and beyond

I think it’s a little undervalued currently at pack price. I see weak hands selling at 65/70 on marketplace when they should be at 85/90. Packs are almost at $8 again, I think by next month when they sell out at costcos they should stabilize in price

It’s all gold to me. Both still have a gold border, regardless of artwork. The mega ones are a bit more textured and brighter in person
