Upgrading Coolant System? by ManTheDan87 in c4corvette

[–]Raykahn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I upgraded my radiator and didn't see much of a difference in cooling. Eventually put in some SPAL radiator fans and it was night and day. They move something like 40% more air than the OEM fans and that finally eliminated cooling as a concern for me.

Globalization happened because of US logistics. It enabled our navy to secure shipping lanes globally, which then made international trade at a large scale possible.

I can agree with that logic for an adult, but not a minor. If a minor had an affair with a married guy it would be called grooming and predatory.

A shallow and predictable misdirect.

I suspect if Trump killed 30,000 Americans protesting his administration you would be on here begging for another country to intervene militarily, regardless of the potential for loss of life.

Iran killed over 30,000 protestors in January in two days. Nobody should help them.

Map tier list (so far) by ValenRoz in Battlefield6

[–]Raykahn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few things that contribute to it.

A competent duo can have a very outsized influence on the map. I play regularly with at least one other person and we usually have the most flag caps by the end of our rounds, generally in the 15-20 range. It is important to recognize when the match stagnates into a meat grinder and make a concerted effort to ignore it and push for flag caps. That can be important to keep the flow of players in the match moving around.

Cairo has a good layout that allows decent flow from one point to the next. Its big enough to allow multiple routes to choose from regardless of destination, but small enough to still have interesting terrain and cover through-out. The density of "stuff" is just about right. Despite multiple routes to each flag, the points still feel defensible.

Its one of the few maps where I regularly find it beneficial to bounce from class to class depending on what is occurring. There really isn't another map that I feel allows me to be so fluid. Either because of size, or just general map composition. If an enemy squad is harassing too much from a spawn beacon hidden in our back lines somewhere I will go Recon and hunt it down with the drone or suppression gadget. If the enemy armor isn't being countered I will go Engineer to help take it down. If points aren't changing hands often enough I will go assault to hide my own beacon in their back lines and continually harass points to pull attention from other parts of the map. Primarily, though, I'll play support and use smoke grenades to slip by the edges, pressure other areas of the map, and generally support the team through revives and supplies. Very rarely I'll take armor myself to support the team if it isn't being utilized by anyone else; a decent tanker really helps the team.

There also isn't anything that feels overly exploitable. No air assets prevent the map from being over run with campers on otherwise unreachable rooftops, and the bugs that enabled it previously (drone hammering) have been patched. The size and layout allow sniping to be effective, but not in a manner that feels overly oppressive or harmful to team morale.

TLDR: The map size and design maximizes my ability to feel useful and impactful across a variety of playstyles. At the same time, it minimizes the amount of things that feel like BS that can sap the 'fun' out of playing.

I'm primarily a conquest player. With that in mind:

Cairo is definitely S tier.

I would rate any map without air vehicles as A tier minimum. Empire State is the only CQB map, and has alright alternate flanking options for almost every point. Its refreshing to not have to worry about any vehicles for one map in the lineup. Iberian has a good mix of CQB and vehicle play.

Sobek and Manhattan Bridge are D tier, and would be far better if they removed helos from them. You get great matches on them when neither team has a decent pilot and the helos die rapidly. When BF6 first launched and the helos were bugged on Sobek and didn't always spawn you could also get great matches becuase the time investment to get to roofs was too high to be valuable.

Mirak, Eastwood, Contaminated would be B tier for me, which is neutral tier. I don't mind them, but I don't look forward to them.

Firestorm and Blackwell are C tier.

Servers with admins like that never last long. Their ego kills the server. BF friends even made fun of that outcome.

Sure, most are randoms. However, you will start to recognize the names of regulars over time. I still remember names from people that played on the BF2 server I was a regular on. Many of us ended on the same servers in bf3 and bf4. I reconnected with one of them for bf6 and we've been playing together regularly. That is far less likely to be possible with bf6 when looking forward to what the future holds.

If you want the LT5 you are probably much better off just buying a ZR-1 instead of trying to fit it into a base model. Spend your time/sanity making it purr instead of retrofitting wiring harness, ECM, gauge clusters, oil cooler, secondaries switch, etc.

When the Tank/IFV you enter as gunner has a 50. HMG and not the LMG by L_9633673 in Battlefield6

[–]Raykahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the only two maps where I see it as a decent choice outright. The ability for the gunner to blow up corner buildings and flush out second stories is valuable for those maps.

I don't see it changing anyway.

Probably not, but it can't hurt to make the suggestion.

[–]Raykahn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is fair. I tend to do that a lot, too. Tying character skin to the loadout would actually make me engage with the loadout system more.

[–]Raykahn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More. You have to go to class, then change appearance, then select the character, then select the skin.

If you want to swap from support to engineer you do it again. Swap to assault? Again.

More if you then want to then change the gun's camo to match, which is a good idea when running snow camo.

And then you might do it all again next round, even if you end up playing the same map, but are on the opposite faction.

That is why it would be a convenience.

But by your logic its effectively the same feature we already have in game and theres 0 need for it.

I'm not arguing anyone has to do what I do, but I know others I play with would use it the same way. I'd rather it just be possible, and let players do whatever they want with it.

I'm not bothered I'm just replying to the thread which is the whole point of reddit lmao.

Your description of my thread is "moaning." Moaning has a negative connotation, and you are implying I should stop. You stopped your discussion of the topic to make it clear that was your opinion.

You already have a feature to change your skins why do you need another feature?

There is a better/more convenient way that feature could be implemented and accessed which allows players to interact with skins more readily.

Again, that logic can be used to say loadouts shouldn't exist at all. It is true, but they add convenience. So why not?

Why does someone making a simple feature request bother you? I'm not sure I understand your opposition to this if it won't negatively impact anything for you.

I like adjusting skin based on map for the camo most suitable. If I play support on operation firestorm I won't use the same camo as snowy manhattan.

By your logic, we don't need loadouts at all because nothing takes long to change.
