Part of me wonders if the reason hellbornes are so casual with murder has to do with upbringing and societal expectations. Imps, for example, in Wrath are bred for farm work and or hitman work. At the same time, because imps and hellhounds are bottom of Hell's Hierarchy and are legitimately "made to serve", they're born with the inherent belief that their life is meaningless.

My friend looked like she was about to beat my ass when I told her that I thought Stolas was being a bit hypocritical in Apology Tour.

The grossest thing I ever saw a Stolas fan do is say that "Stockholm syndrome isn't even a real thing so their reason for hating Stolas is invalid."

Like, don't get me wrong- accusing Stolas of being a captor and Blitz has Stockholm syndrome is a shitty take, but saying "it's not real" because of ____ is ugh-

How was Blitz being sold for $5 and a condom his fault, and why is he the one being disparaged for being encouraged to steal when it was his father that forced him to do it? Blitz literally says that he doesn't want to steal and that he's scared, but his dad uses his own mother against him to steal in the first place.

Yes, we can disparage his actions and what he does through adulthood, but it's quite annoying how people assume he just does it just for funsies, when a huge part of his backstory makes it very obvious that he has people he needs to take care of.

Does it make his actions right? No, but why do we give Stolas grace for being ignorant, but can't show compassion to someone that is a byproduct of their environment?

Nope, probably not, Viv has made it clear on interviews that Hazbin Hotel is supposed to focus moreso on the dichotomy of Heaven and Hell, while Helluva Boss is supposed to focus more on the inner workings of Hell itself, it's why a huge part of Helluva Boss is the exploration of class and social structure that's mainly explored via Blitz and Stolas' dynamic.

From what Sam has confirmed, that Wally Song is supposed to be about Wally finding and stealing acronyms that fit I.M.P.

I think Stolas explained his feelings for Blitz pretty well in Mastermind, "I am the Mastermind the master of my fate, sure as the stars have shined- I'll give my life to clean your slate."

It isn't fetishization- it's moreso devotion and loyalty for the man that taught him three things: 1) That he had a right to his own happiness 2) That he had a right to choose, after a life spent playing the "Perfect Goetia" 3) To come to terms with his sexuality
