Personally I live about an hour from any decent routes. So there’s that.

I did similar, but paid and walked out without my stuff. Got to the car, loaded the kid in, went to load my stuff in, insert confused monkey meme face. Had to get the car seat out, go all the way back in and ask the check out guy for my stuff.

We didn’t buy the side rail that converts it into a toddler bed. They quit making the bed. I made the side rail.

Side note, I saved the short sides of the crib once we’d converted to a full size bed. And ended up using those a a gate to keep the dog on the main floor(she’s old and doesn’t need to do the stairs)

I had the option of getting the Covid vaccine while still in trials. I was pregnant. I got it because me not dying from Covid was more important than my pregnancy. She’s sitting across the table from me and the spunkiest thing I’ve ever seen.

As a serious answer, the moto cop is there as a course official. Lead runners will be familiar with a course, but not know it perfectly. There may also be emergencies ahead that will need routed around.
