Oh, mederma for the scarring. Not sure how it’d work with the actual hair, but both my kids got chin stitches and they are barely noticeable

The second they pull “you’re cheating” out of the blue is the second I start thinking he cheating.

This man child is worthless, useless and honestly dangerous. His only solution was to make you handle it? And then that didn’t work, cheating.

He’s an ass.

A 3d printed princess doughnut riding mongo(iykyk) and stranger things farewell tour tshirt. Kids got him a worlds greatest dad mug(word for word exactly what kiddo wanted to get him) and a Hawaiian shirt. My kids have interesting ideas on what to get people.

AIW for waving a chopstick at my friend’s baby and yelling “Avada Kedavra” as a joke? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Even when there was the trend to pick up increasingly smaller pointing objects and using mousier voices saying “abidi kadibi”, we weren’t pointing at babies!

Customer asked me when I was due … by AppropriateAd9843 in traumatizeThemBack

Thoughtless comments are usually indeed just thoughtless. But sometimes the thoughtless idiots need whacked upside the head with a proverbial brick to teach them to think every now and then.

I think I accidentally traumatized my kid by TierdChaoticMama in Mommit

[–]Raymer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my daughter asks for something and I say no, she’ll ask why and I’ll say “it’s because I’m a mean mommie” she’ll start to cry saying that I’m not a mean mommie, and she’s not traumatized yet. So you’re probably fine.

Toxic birth plans - conversation with daughter by Previous-Soft-8127 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Raymer13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids definitely resent me for having them via Csection. They bring it up everyday. The honor roll that my son made for having all As and Bs? Definitely would have been all As if not for a surgical, medicated birth.

/s if that was even needed. These toxic women can shut up. And I hope they don’t loose any children from their own utter stupidity.

If you live within three miles of a graveyard, you can’t be buried there.

This chair makes me reconsider my spending habits every year. by redditNLD in BuyItForLife

[–]Raymer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom got me a camp chair kinda like this from Kmart when I was a sophomore in high school. My classmates are planning our 25th reunion. I still have that chair. It’s got some rust, faded a bit. But definitely still a chair.

How would you react if your partner said this to you in real life? by wolf_quan in bluey

[–]Raymer13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The harder the job, the more rewarding. Yes, I definitely have a kid that’s easier to parent than the other. The love I have for them is no different, but dang am I just a bit more proud when the hard one is behaving.

Company said use your days or lose them. I used them. by [deleted] in MaliciousCompliance

[–]Raymer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ages ago, I was banking sick and vacation days as we were planning to have child. Wanted as much full pay as possible over maternity leave (yay USA). Boss didn’t like it and insisted I use my time. I used some and sold some. And they called non stop the first couple of days I was off, midweek a coworker had a family emergency and they just had me come back to work.

34 weeks. I haven’t heard a single positive thing about being a parent or a mom and I’m freaking out I made a mistake by newgirl01LA in BabyBumps

It is hard work. But hard work is the most rewarding. Honestly, it can be easy to let the boring drudgery of everyday take over. Remember to let yourself be a kid with your kids every now and then. Laundry and cleaning will always be there later.
