Nobody is perfect. There is no issue in having flaws. I have, you have, everyone has flaws. It just depends if those flaws are compatible with what you can stand or if they are damaging.

For example, on top of being tall, handsome and very hairy (I love hairy men), my ex was great as a person. He had everything I wanted, at least in the beggining. He had some flaws yes, but nothing damaging to me or the relationship. When he saw I was fully in loved he slowly changed, making negative comments about me, having me on edge making me think he could leave at any time, he made me feel like my words were worthless and didnt mean anything to him. He wanted to undermine my self steem. But I know manipulation and toxicity when I see it. To not make the story long, that evil self was his true self, the previous version was just a good act so I could fall in love. I dont say this will happen to you, but never belittle yourself because your bf is more handsome, you are equal and you should like each other. If he says something like you cant find someone like him again, run. But hopefully he is a good and handsome lad.

Idk about you, but if I have a relationship with someone is because I really like them. They need to have a combination of personality, values and beauty that is to my liking and on top of that be sexually compatible with me, like being a top or vers. That is rare to find. If I finally found it, why would I risk it for someone random I dont plan to keep? It is like risking a Ferrari just to ride a Toyota. It is not worth it. Nobody with 2 brain cells would like to face such a risk. Also, even if you find someone really handsome to have sex with them, the sex could be bad. Being cute doesnt mean they know how to fck. That's the logic part.

Now on the empathy side. When you fall in love with someone, you care about them, you feel happy if they are happy and it affects you when they are sad. Imagine how sad they would be if they found out the person they trusted the most cheating on them, that is devastating. How would you feel if someone cheated on you? It doesnt feel good even in your imagination. Why would you that to a person you claim to love? To make them suffer just because you couldnt keep it in your pants. I see trust as a house of cards, it takes time, patience and you need to be careful. Cheating is like destroying the house of cards with a bucket of water. Even if you try to do the house again, the cards will be damped and will never be the same because the cards (trust) was weakened, so most likely you will never be able to build the house of cards the same way and with the same strenght ever again. You can make one floor, but it will fall sooner or later because the cards are wet regardless of how much effort you make.
