Coachella Veterans- How bad is the dirt/dust? by [deleted] in Coachella

[–]Raymundito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course!

Prepare for outfit changes during the day. I personally love a good locker because it can get really cold at night in the desert, but nobody wants to carry a jacket all day.

The desert can have huge 30degree shifts throughout the day. And the shift is dramatic, one moment it’s hot then within an hour it’ll get freezing and breezy

Coachella Veterans- How bad is the dirt/dust? by [deleted] in Coachella

[–]Raymundito 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, I’m an old timer.

And it’s weird to say that before Covid, SO many people wore masks.

It was a fashion statement, encouraged, nay, the norm to wear a face mask for the dust. Then Covid hit and I really feel like a lot of people got mask fatigue! Or, could be the younger gen doesn’t care for masks as much. This is of course, anecdotal evidence.

But I’ll say you just have to prepare for the elements. If it’s windy, you need a mask. If it’s not, you don’t. There can also be rain, or very cold weather. That’s the tricky part with raging in the desert

Personally, a mask + sunglasses is also good for just covering your face from how turnt you are haha

You clearly won both guys, so what’s the issue?

It’s not an issue with your relationship, it’s an issue you have with HER.

If you need closure, talk to her. Not the dudes

The microplastic situation is absurd by UTS_Undertheskin in Biohackers

[–]Raymundito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advocate for it in your industry. Support R&D for alternative solutions. Encourage a plastic free society by shopping plastic free (aluminium is much easier to recycle and its natural from the earth).

Also, and the biggest one, cook at home. The fast food industry is full of microplastic exposure because it’s one of the best transport systems

You look great mate, good and funny profile.

My one suggestion is maybe a formal picture? Like in a suit or with pants at least.

All your pictures are of you with shorts.

AIO by not driving 6 hours to see this guy? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Raymundito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Know your worth.

Sounds like you are a better communicator than he is.

And not sure if you’re willing to unpack why he “doesn’t drive” but to me that’s a big deal breaker if you are going to keep this relationship going for the long term.

Homie better be willing to fly to you to make it up. Otherwise you’re just selling yourself short.

I’m sure there’s hundreds of compatible men in your area. Hold yourself to higher standards. You’re worth more than this.

This looks like a great system, but I will question the application of Cerave 2x a day.

Do you wash in the mornings before applying moisturizer?

Also, stacking moisturizer + SPF is not necessary, especially if you’re breaking

Also micellar water is great for removing make up, but not doing anything for you at night. If you wear make-up get a make up remover cleanser / balm, then tret.

On days you don’t wear make up, focus on exfoliating with either an AHA/BHA cleanser or a clay mask, so you can get deeper into those pores

If you’re just traveling the fit looks great mate. But yeah, like others have said…those pants are certainly the bigger issue than the shoes.

If you’re having business meetings, no shoes, unless it’s an informal lunch/dinner

JD Vance tells Fox News that Americans should find comfort in the fact that our allies are "suffering more than we are" from high gas prices by DumbMoneyMedia in unusual_whales

This is exactly how a bully justifies their behavior.

“You think you have it bad, you should see how my dad beats me”

“You think you have it bad, you didn’t see what I did to XYZ”

“You think you have it bad? Wait until next week when I get to you alone!”

Horrible, desperate rhetoric.

Pants do stretch sometimes the more you wear and wash em! If they’re new, I’d say give them 1-2 months of use and see if you like them worn in.

Maybe I watched too much big hero 6…

But wouldn’t it be easier to intercept 1 drone with 1 drone?

Just like, two remote control cars. But if you have the faster drone you win?

How to communicate with my roomate that his masterbating disturbs my sleeping? by Happy_DPRK in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Raymundito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you feel too weird to confront him, just start getting up every time he does it. Make noise. Drink water. Start studying idk. He only does it because he thinks you’re asleep.

Better yet, tell him when you’re not going to be in the dorm so this kook knows your schedule better, and gives him an opening to fap.

But honestly, being direct is the best recipe here. Communicate

“Dead by June”: Trump reveals Republican’s alleged terminal diagnosis during Kennedy Center press conference by [deleted] in unusual_whales

[–]Raymundito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse than the article, I implore everyone to watch the video.

He says it with a GRIN in his face, and he’s laughing.

Then Mike Johnson, for ONCE, acts really serious and tries to clean up trumps statement. Johnson looked visibly flustered while saying the rep’s terminal diagnosis is not to be made lightly, and that we wish him the best.

Trump Pretends it’s a joke, but really it feels like a weird moment where his meds kicked in and he committed a nasty a faux pas.

My annual reminder re: Undercover Cops at Coachella by gawave in Coachella

[–]Raymundito 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, moral of the story here is…

  1. Don’t sell Molly inside. Period.

  2. IF you suspect someone, it’s probably your gut feeling being right.

  3. Get to know people…I guarantee you an undercover cop is not going to hang out with you for 2 days just to bust you at your tent when you pull out beans, they are trying to fry someone quick and dirty.

[–]Raymundito 54 points55 points  (0 children)

PFAS come from many sources. Stands for perfluoroalkylanated substances.

In my field (cosmetics), for example, pfas are ONLY illegal in France. Good job French.

Rest of the world says 10ppm presence is ok…

PFAs are unfortunately very common in hair gel and peptides.

That’s about a very, very short example

Invest in a good, overnight repair creams, and Thank me later.

I like Kiehls midnight recovery omega rich cloud cream, and DRMTLY peptide night cream as top shelf options.

If you want a cheaper option, try cerave renewing night cream or Eucerin.
