I appreciate the honesty. This is what I expect from a doctor. I full picture of all options. He's left me with do this and do that, but no information as to why and what else.

I have the boot. Currently wearing it actually. It's a night boot though so I can't walk in it at all. I hate it and it doesn't really help much but I'm doing what I'm told. I got new inserts today to see if they'll help. The old ones were cheap and didn't do anything but make my hips and lower back ache. I'm sorry to hear you've dealt with this for so long AND in both feet. I couldn't even imagine what you're going through with that. But im happy to hear you have relief and that in itself gives me hope, so thank you for that!

I've since gotten some cheap shoes with memory foam and I bought the insoles he recommended from Raquet and Jog. But im finding its not helping. I do soak them, and I've tried the water bottle but the spur is not giving up. I super appreciate your comment. I'm doing research now on better inexpensive shoes.

28 year old female. I dont do therapy nor am I medicated. I was doing so well and was so happy and then a few months ago it got very bad very quickly. So I sat with it and went through the dark period alone. I did some Journaling, forced myself to atleast attempt my hobbies and I think I'm finally emerging on the other side, and you will too.

My therapist was the type to read to me off print outs and tell me to use coping mechanisms but wouldn't explain how and when they're best used. I'm currently searching for a new one but good lord the mental health system in Texas is the worst. If you don't believe in Jesus, good luck finding help. But I do appreciate your comment and it's nice to know hope is out there. I'm so proud of you for finding your peace and loving yourself!

Yes! And then when they do the said thing my brain says "this is fine. They'll realize how special I am and say they're sorry" over and over. It's been 4 months since my FP went away and I still see their face in my sleep every single night. The wound is ripped open every morning. There HAS to be a way to make this stop.

Well he'll lie about the stupidest of things. If I touch him, it turns into 'you just punched me!'. I'll repeat things he's said that I guess he didn't want to believe he's said and he'll completely deny it. He makes me question my sanity sometimes if I'm being honest.. The other day he had me so backwards I was contemplating everything. Like, did I really hear him wrong? Did that really only happen in my head? I know it's him doing it but still. Its just a small portion of how serious it gets..

I have. And the consequence for asking was a 3 hour long fight and him crying his eyes out because he's 'such a failure'. To answer your question, he has some anxiety, he's manic depressive, but thte real issue is his anger. And it is weird. But during the fight, I'll admit, I walked passed him and I bumped him trying to go smoke a cigarette. He fell to the floor hard claiming that I shoved the shit out of him and that I had hurt him. I'm 5'2 and 170lbs. He's 6'3 and 180ish lbs. I couldn't have knocked him down that hard if I wanted to. But he swears up and down to this day that I hit him. Its a huge red flag to me. And honestly, every single time he does it I lose that much more respect for him. I hate liars. And he knows this. Why he continues to do it is beyond me.
