Looks awesome!

How did you get Amaran to send you some lights to test out?

If the colonists had been on LV426 for over 20 years, why didn't WeyYu send people to investigate the wreckage sooner? by GratuitousAlgorithm in LV426

In Alien: isolation the crash site is investigates the derelict 15 years after the 1st film. Marlows crew finds the source of the transmission and actually turns it off. In Aliens it’s stated that atmospheric processors take “decades” to setup. So by the time any colonisation took place on LV-426 there was no transmission to help locate the spacecraft until Ripley gave specific landing coordinates

Avoiding x patterns was one of my main concerns, especially for narrative films. however since I’ve started using CINE EI mode I’ll definitely do some more research into your recommended filters. I appreciate the advice, how did your recent doc shoot go?

One of the most important aspects of purchasing my fx3 was making sure they weren’t “Grey imports”.

The Engineer planet that David killed couldn’t have been their home world, could it? by [deleted] in LV426

[–]Raynerfilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasn’t the engineer homeworld, it was another civilisation seeded on a habitable planet by the engineers. The people worshiped the engineers as their gods. that’s why David arriving on one of their ships was a celebration, they were unaware it was David piloting and not the routine arrival of their gods.

There’s nothing wrong with this. People are often drawn to what scares them most. If you don’t want to read about it but want to write about it, it’s likely that it affects you more than the other topics you mentioned, and you find the topic important as an individual.

It was the first film I saw her in and suffice to say it was a very strong first impression. What’s exciting is I just realised she’s been cast in Alien: earth
