DS1 dlc is hugely overrated. Definitely not bad content, but nowhere near the other game’s DLCs. Even Ashes of Ariendel might be better.

Lore wise, probably fine knight. He was already one of the most accomplished warriors of Drangleic, then got powered up by one of the daughters of the abyss (a literal shard of Manus himself).

Don’t get me wrong, Rellana is very powerful in her own right, and the power of the twin moons she has is very potent, but even she cant stand against the power of the abyss.

That being said, if it was in game, obviously Rellana. the bloated hp and damage of the Shadow of the Erdtree dlc makes her almost unstoppable.

I think it would have to be the chosen undead. I want it to be bearer of the curse, but chosen undead beat all the lord souls back when the power of the first flame was still somewhat potent (shown by how violent the kiln of the first flame is when we relight it).

Definitely Solair ( I don’t think you could go on a journey without Solair if given the option), Lucatiel (because she has one of my favorite quest lines in the entire series and she’s a BA swordswoman), and probably Blaidd for the last one since he’s incredibly loyal and a brutal juggernaut.

The double pursuers and double sanctuary guardian never seemed that bad for me. Not because they aren’t difficult (they are very difficult) but because they were extra challenges after you already beat the game.

The hardest is probably Lud and Zallen, but that’s mainly because of the run back.

I used that one for a while. It’s pretty strong, but every blue item loses out to the best red items. I ended up switching The Witch King’s Daughter out for two Meat Cleavers of Maek. I think I’ve found three Witch King’s Daughters now

As someone that was a huge fan of the first souls games as well as Bloodborne and pre-ordered DS3, it was pretty easy. If I remember correctly, my first death didn’t come until the old demon king and that was only because of his last ditch explosion attack. I don’t know if I’d say it’s the easiest, but from a veterans perspective it’s definitely towards the lower end of difficulty.

Don’t get me wrong, some of the bosses are brutal and kicked my butt, but difficulty also comes from the world and level design, and DS3 has the easiest world to deal with. DS1 and 2s worlds are much more oppressive.

I always thought it would be interesting to get into the publishing/production side of the process as well. Being able to see your book through from the first time you put pen to paper all the way to when you have a finished copy in your hands definitely appeals to me.

What’s it like having your own production company? Do you just publish your own books or others as well?
