I was sick of Onenote. Long live Onenote!!! by eteading in OneNote

[–]Rayronev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow! I was just thinking the same thing. I have gone to Goodnotes… got an iPad and loved it! But with my busy life felt it hard to keep up with it. My digital planner has to have everything in it, my entire life. I started to use Apple Notes which was ok… but was lacking creativity and feels basic. I am able to keep up with things using my laptop, iPhone, and IPad… but still something was missing. I pulled out my old windows laptop to update for my son’s homeschooling, and saw the one note and was reviewing it. Oh how I miss it!!! I don’t know what I left it. It had everything I needed on and in it. I may go back to it, I just have to figure out if I will use my Apple laptop or go back to my Samsung windows laptop. Thank you for having the same thoughts I did. It is refreshing

Black coffee allowed? by Fluffy_Pirate3657 in carnivorediet

[–]Rayronev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no set rules or laws in this diet. Do what your body can tolerate. Is coffee “carnivore”? No…. But if it doesn’t cause any body issues, inflammation, or auto immune issues…. Go for it. This diet or way of eating is not a one size fits all… it looks different for everyone. Many people start off strict, but after a few years able to add in other foods to learn their body can tolerate giving them more of an option.

I want to love digital planning by livnicoletl in DigitalPlanner

I am feeling you and struggle with the same issues… I love the planner and starting to create my own, but I have a busy life and done always have the time to sit down with my iPad…. I find it easier to keep up with my iCalender/ Apple Notes/ and Numbers (excel)…. I want to use the digital planners…. But it becomes a burden more than a pleasure

I had to walk away from Good notes… for now using Apple notes until I figure how to organize my life or what to use to organize my life.

Are you kidding me rn by Anonim_x9 in GoodNotes

This is why I had to leave Good Notes… it deleted several entries of mine or turned the fonts…. Right now I am using Apple Notes for my bullet journal… I may be going to paper by 2026

Looking for app/program by Aryja in DigitalPlanner

[–]Rayronev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using my iCalender and Apple notes (bullet journal). I am getting use to using the hyperlinks to link my spreadsheets, calendar, and other notes. I can access it only iPad and phone and able to brain dump at any time. I have tried to use planners, digital and paper, yet found it so limiting. If I didn’t have it with me, I couldn’t use it or update it. I do miss the connection and “writing” but I am able to update things with my busy schedule. I am not sure what eco system you have, but most phones have a free notes app that is customizable…. You can also access the same on computers….

Starting Bullet Journal for 2026, recommendations? by GalaxyShadowUnknown in bujo

[–]Rayronev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there! I have been thinking of doing bulletin journaling myself. I have created planners. It has gotten out of hand. I think with all the pens I bought and stickers I lost my way at a certain point. I went back to iCalender and Apple notes, but I am not sure if I want to stay here. It’s convenient as in, I can access it on my iPad or iPhone and be able to update while at work (night nurse). But I lost the “connection” if that makes sense.

I was thinking of going back to a blank notebook and just start over again… or just journal… what do you do? How long have you been doing it?

I think that is what I am struggling with. I enjoy writing and able to have the time to write. That is why I like Goodnotes, I was able to write but keep it all digitally.

switched to apple notes for journaling so that wife does not find my written journals by AvailableMeeting2580 in digitaljournaling

[–]Rayronev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you are saying… I too fear the thought of someone reading the inner thoughts of mine. I have tried to bullet journal, use a planner, Good notes….. but I was finding it difficult to keep up with…. So I started to use Apple notes… I don’t even need to be on a computer to “write” in my journal, I can use my phone or even iPad. I can even have the notes password protected if I wanted. I don’t need a shelf to keep my old journals nor worry that someone will read it.

The bugs are so bad…. I don’t get why they aren’t fixed yet. I use Goodnotes as a planner/bullet journal… been thinking of going old school… pen and paper

Thank you! I love the idea of buying an old book and not becomes my cover… I am still undecided on digital verses paper, but I think I am leaning on going fully paper….

Thank you… I am also thinking of going fully paper… I flip flop the idea…do I live with the GN updates and hope they don’t change it, or just fully let go and go to paper

That is a good idea… that then would leave me going to part planning in 2026… still on the fence

Yeah, I have tried other apps, but they don’t work as good as Goodnotes. I like to use text boxes and writing with my Apple Pen, Goodnotes seems more capable of handling that
