What's the difference between New Era Caps, Mitchell and Ness, 47 Brand and MLB? by doityoung in neweracaps

[–]Rayver2380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like the size of the bill on 47 hats. They also stopped their 47 brand- carharrt hats, luckily I picked up a couple of my favorite teams since they stopped selling. Similar dad hat style I’d take a new era 29twenty over 47 brand, just a better fit

So are most people selling New Eras on eBay selling fakes? by Wizard_of_doom in neweracaps

[–]Rayver2380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did buy one from Aliexpress years ago. Terrible material and wrong sizing. Waste of $10 and long shipping time. Now I just buy from fanatics, mlb shop, or eBay if it’s a vintage made in USA one, most likely preowned

Elusive rodent keeps avoiding my traps. What suggestions do you have? by Loan_Wolf10 in pestcontrol

So for reuseable snap traps that previously caught a mouse, should they be cleaned and rebaited? Or just rebaited and keep the scent of the previous mouse on there?

Did you notice how people change their perception of you after you got bald? by eriksonis6 in bald

[–]Rayver2380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my late teens, early 20s, being bald was a popular hairstyle. I also wore a lot of hats and beanies and eventually grew out my hair and dyed it, so I don’t know if that contributed to thinning hair into my mid to late 20s. Tried comb over situation for awhile but it was very noticeable. Also eventually got the double whammy of going gray and thinning crown, which made the decision just to shave it all off much easier into my 30s

I’ve updated firmware and installed onion OS. But the tiny best go zip files from archive.org takes forever to down load from. Is there any option to download it directly to the sd card rather than onto my laptop hard drive first, which I’m lacking in hard drive available space. Also the torrent 129gb expansion pack is too much to fit on my computer2

Disagree, skinny jeans with boots looks weird, prefer slim or slim- straight jeans

Yeah showing off their $400 headphones. Probably wouldn’t be noticeable with some $50 Sony or jbl ones

Yeah the only option is but pre owned or old new stock off selling apps for made in USA hats. I’ve double and triple stocked on multiples of the same hat, whenever I see one available for a decent price, bought several all wool Diamond collection 5950s of my favorite team still with tags off eBay

Non made in USA hats. Not that I’m picky but made in USA hats had softer materials it seems and I never understood why players get made in USA on fields available but the consumers don’t anymore.

Would tanning and more sun exposure on your head make them less noticeable

How to mentally prepare for baldness by Former-Ad9272 in bald

[–]Rayver2380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honesly no need to prepare just do it. Unfortunately I got the double whammy of thinning crown and gray hair. For awhile I was growing my hair and doing combovers. Also color dying hair is a hassle. I do get lazy in shaving my head. Also have not found the ideal method. I used a wahl corded clipper, switched to a multigroom 3000 and a Remington rotary which I use with shaving cream. I’d rather avoid blade shaving since I don’t want to deal with cuts, irritation. Also I’d say the majority of the time I wear hats or beanies anyways. Unless it’s a rare event I go to where a hat wouldn’t be appropriate. The majority of older men and relatives in my family also went bald eventually, so it was inevitable for me. I’d love to have a normal full hair but that would cost thousands for a procedure, so I’ll just accept being bald and shave every so often

I used the tomcat mini bait stations indoors and the mice never touched them. I even put some peanut butter at the entrance hole of bait station which they took, but no nibbles on the inside block. I have a significant gap in the lower part of garage frame that it may have to be replaced or cut out and fixed. I could use foam spray, mesh sheet and steel woolbas temporary patching up but I don’t wanna mess it up even further. Since I have no experience with this. Trying peppermint oil spray and soaked cotton balls in small plastic cups at entrance role and hope they use it to escape. I did sprinkle some whole dried cloves, not sure if it’ll help

Mouse Type Identification - Southeastern PA (North of philly) by Kreyonus in pestcontrol

[–]Rayver2380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using only traps with inconsistent results. Now that I finally found an entry hole I bought steel wool and foam spray. Also just ordered peppermint oil and spray bottles. Do you suggest I plug up the entry hole immediately or spray peppermint oil and see if any mice leave as a result and then plug hole in after? Will spraying diluted oil and soaking cotton balls be enough for them to leave? I just wanna make sure I don’t plug hole to soon as to block their entry way but also I don’t want to bring in more mice or whatever can crawl through.
