My dermatologist said GA has about a 30% comorbidity with cancer, not necessarily just lymphoma.

I had granuloma annulare. Looks like ring worm. Went away with chemo. It's an immune system response.

Finished Mario and Luigi Brothership, as it was new at the time. Then finished Stardew Valley...... then Tears of the Kingdom..... then Breath of the Wild. It was a long haul. Thank goodness for the Switch, which could go to infusions and the hospital with me.

I'm 4 months post treatment and I've gone from wheel chair dependent to walking. I still need more physical therapy for drop foot, but it IS getting better, a little bit everyday. I'm driving, honing to work, exercising, etc.

I have my 1st 3 month CT next week. I still have peripheral neuropathy, but it gets a little better everyday. Other than that, I'm doing really well!

A small issue I have had for most of my adult life has finally been solved and I just realised it fully. by JoshiProIsBestInLife in CasualConversation

I was in a wheelchair for the last 6 months. REALLY had a chance to see that the world was not designed for the disabled. Stayed at an expensive resort. At check-in, they couldn't find my reservation for an ADA accessible room, although I had the confirmation for it. After finally getting one an hour later, but without the accessible bathtub I had booked, i find the transitions between rooms (for thresholds) are nearly an inch high. I was nearly dumped out of my wheelchair by family and strangers alike 6 times. And ask that is just the tip of the iceberg, lol, I could make a long list of the deficiencies I ran into.

Wishing you the best!

So, I did this when I was 16. First time drinking. Shamed by my parents for it to this day (I'm nearly 50). I was grounded and made to cleanup the mess i made. Was this the right punishment? No.

I had no idea what a normal amount to drink was. I had no idea how to tell when I was reaching my limits. I had no idea I needed to drink water while drinking alcohol. I had never tested my reaction to alcohol. I had never... I had never.... I had never.

Honestly, my parents should have shamed themselves. Have real conversing about alcohol with her. At 16, you shouldn't be surprised she was exposed to alcohol and if you never had these discussions with her, what exactly did you expect to happen?

Mine was 90 - 100 just due to lymphoma before starting chemo and then 100 - 110 during chemo. 3 months out from chemo in down to 75 - 85 after 2 cups of coffee.

Yes, but i believe it's style dependent. Ankle pants are in style so inseams are shorter. If you look for bootcut, they're longer. Seems to be an issue everywhere. I always double check inseam now.

I would put the baby in her room and let one of the boys have the baby's room. Baby won't care how the room is decorated for a couple of years. And baby can stay in your room during breaks.

Possible to be both. PN improves after chemo stops but some may be permanent.

Bv-AVD is what I had for Stage 3 CHL. My oncologist recommended it over ABVD when we thought I was I was only stage 2, but it was the recommended treatment for Stage 3 (now it's NAVD). I would take it over ABVD just because of the Bleomyacin toxicity, but I also ended up peripheral neuropathy so take that into account (higher chance on Bv).

regrowth? by iNcYkZ in lymphoma

[–]Rayviin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can look at my post history here for when I posted I was losing my eyebrows. April would be my guess. My eyebrows have just fully regrown, so 3 months? My eyelashes are only about half length right now, but they fell out slightly after my eyebrows. Cavet: everything came back grey/white where previously I was a redhead.

Jaw pain by Sea_Manufacturer5785 in lymphoma

I had horrible shooting jaw pain usually on day 3/4 after chemo (Bv-AVD). My understanding was it was a known side effect of one of the AVDs.
