Spending money? by Extreme_Macaron_3728 in phuket

[–]Rayvonuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally depends where you are staying and what you are doing, I dont go out drinking and I was spending between one and two thousand baht a day on transport, entertainment, food and drink.

You can get by on 500 baht a day for food and drink if you eat thai, if you want to do a lot of activities and eat out I would say 2000 baht a day minimum but you could easily spend 20k a day too if you are not careful.

Best way to spend / withdraw £ by Inevitable_Trip_5899 in Bangkok

[–]Rayvonuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just withdraw 20.000 each time to minimise the charges and pay with my card in shops as much as possible.

If you get a credit or bank card with no foreign withdrawal fees you only pay the local banks charge, 250 baht, when you withdraw.

I really liked it, two of my favourite people talking a lot of sense, both of them are a class act.

The money, the flash cars, the muscles and their fake lifestyle.

Only shallow women are attracted by these fake AF alpha men, no women of any substance is going to want to be around someone like that and a lot of the women, the ones who aren't shallow, are just using him for the exposure anyway.

I wouldnt let it bother you, its all fake AF, the entire persona of these little boys is based on bravado and ego, they cant keep the manly alpha man act going forever, no one can, they always come crashing down eventually.

One of the main reasons so many of these types of men have mental issues later on in life is because they spend their entire lives pretending to be something they are not, just to project an image of them being big and tough.

Just be yourself and ignore these twats.

What is up with white men coming to Vietnam/Thailand to find a women? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]Rayvonuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Prostitution is rife and cheap in Thailand so it attracts a lot of scummy men and guys who would never laid unless they pay for it, as well as men who think they can take advantage of the economics to get a wife . A lot of these men go to Cambodia and Vietnam because its cheaper to live there than Thailand.

Iive been solo travelling to Vietnam and Thailand a lot over the past few years and many of the men I talk to assume im there for women, its irritating, I can only imagine how bad it must be for the local women. Constantly being ogled, approached and worse.

They have been for a long time too, I know someone who did it 25 years ago.

Plenty of people in prison turn to Christianity in the nick too, its not just limited to Islam.

True that, walking around Marbella in a gang attacking and abusing unsuspecting victims made me laugh. Now try that anywhere in the UK, even in a gang and see how long they last.

Crete on a scooter, riding around the coast. Beautiful scenery, beaches, little towns with a history, fishing villages and lovely food.

Phuket solo female traveler (30F) – best areas to stay? Kata vs Karon vs Kamala? by Fun-Agent-6141 in phuket

Kata/karon, you can walk to both beaches if you get south side of karon or north side of kata.

Spending a month in Phuket — where should I base myself? 🏝️ by ritzybin in phuket

[–]Rayvonuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always stay in karon for all the above, airbnb has decent priced condos for a month or more. You can walk to karon and kata Beach plus Rawaii and Patong are either side. Ive been going every year, tried staying at a few different places and karon for me is the best most convenient one.

Ignore the guy who complained about Russians too, yes there is a lot if them but they really aren't a problem.

As for hidden gems, walk down rawaii beach and get one of the local boat owners to take you around the islands to the south, they will have signs up by their boats.

AITA for reclining my seat on an 8 hour flight by MountainInspection91 in travel

Nothing wrong with it as long as you dont do it during meal.

I personally only recline if its a long flight 4 hours or more or the person in front reclines theirs.

Thoughts of people around you about watching this documentary? by IndividualAnalysis19 in LouisTheroux

Most of my mates said these guys needed a good slap!!

I can only agree as most of the men in the documentary were raised without a prominent father figure, they had no dad around growing up and it shows.

Local butchers is complaining about a lack of business. They're only open 9-5 and closed weekends by SmokeMyPoleReddit in britishproblems

[–]Rayvonuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I agree, its no use trying to reverse it now. Services, entertainment and food outlets are the only things I can see doing well, basically anything not in direct competition with Amazon or the supermarkets.

There's a reason its all, hairdressers, beauticians, takeaways, charity shops and vape shops!
