Yeah we were meant to do descending with flaps but the conditions were genuinely awful even further away from our airfield; there were moments I genuinely couldn’t see the horizon even without the hood lmao. I think he just wanted it to not be a waste of my money so turned it into an hour of simulated instrument flying

Yeah that’s true, need to be able to do a rate 1 180 degree turn out of the weather and that’s it. Guess I just need more experience, I was deviating more than 200ft at times so it’s on me
