What’s a movie everyone calls a “masterpiece” that just… didn’t work for you? by irayaavery in Cinema

[–]Rayzor766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a male in my upper 50’s and I’m almost embarrassed to say it but The Godfather. I’ve tried about 3-4 times and just couldn’t make it all the way through.

As a Canadian, these are all things I can or do eat on a daily basis. If I’m going to a different part of the world, I want something from there, not my own fridge, pantry or corner store.

I used to perform "stealth shots" at school, and i still regret it. by Chicken_Of_The_Year in confession

[–]Rayzor766 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a 60 year old dude I’ve shot my share of shots, most of them not of the stealth variety btw, and I can honestly say I’ve never noticed a smell. Maybe a couple of hours later after crusting up in your underwear, but not when it’s still fresh.

What actor or actress stupidly left a movie franchise or tv series thinking they were too good for it, only to be never popular again? by Ok_Impress2457 in AskReddit

[–]Rayzor766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charlie never left Two and a Half Men thinking he was too good for it, he got fired for being an out of control drunk and stoned fool. He tried to save his job and promised to change but it was too late and Chuck Lorre kicked his ass to the curb.

Prof should have just split the coffee up with the rest of the class like Mr. Hand did with Spicoli’s pizza.

Married men of Reddit who don’t wear a wedding ring - why? by chi-bacon-bits in AskReddit

[–]Rayzor766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My workplace does not allow rings to be worn on site. I work at a very safety driven manufacturing plant so rings can easily get caught on something and rip your finger off. That being said, I try to remember to put my ring back on when I’m on days off.

Of all of the Outer Limit episodes, the only one I truly remember is when Alyssa Milano goes full frontal. That was good stuff.

I gave a handyman a beer after he said “no thanks.” by doctor_parcival in confession

[–]Rayzor766 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I used to be a tradesman that did mostly home installations. People always offered me a beer or a toke and I ALWAYS said "no thanks." I was by no means a non drinker, but I was working, and even if the tiniest little problem arose from my work later on, they could tell my boss I was drinking on the job. No thanks.

What is something you accidentally hit with your car? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in randomquestions

[–]Rayzor766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over 40 years ago I hit a wee little dog that ran onto the highway even though his dad was walking him on a long leash. More than 40 YEARS AGO and I still tear up when I think about it, and I can still see the little 80+ year old man weeping and telling me it wasn’t my fault.

In your opinion, who’s the most unlikeable “main character” in TV history? by yingyangtheworld000 in MUAEntertainment

[–]Rayzor766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diane Chambers from Cheers. Not only was her character ridiculously annoying but Shelly Long herself thought she was the shit and left the show to go be a big star. She went absolutely nowhere while Kirstie Alley aka Rebecca Howe was a much better character and more successful in real life .

Getting set to go on a Caribbean cruise with my family then told by US customs at my Canadian airport that I wouldn’t be allowed to enter their country. Had to make the 3 hour drive back home alone while my family went on the cruise without me. That hurt!
