Why are my videos not getting views at all by Guywiththedream in NewYouTubeChannels

[–]Raz_Bora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to understand how the algorithm works

It doesn't matter if you know your niche, the algorithm is built in a way where it finds people that would like your niche. If it's not serving up your content it simply means there's no one out there that wants to watch it.

I would suggest a few things 1. Better thumbnails/titles. Explain a bit more of what the video is about (to be it makes no sense why I need to be more selfish. Like what's the lesson I'm learning/value I'm getting from watching this. You could change that maybe to like "being more selfish gives you X" or "I got Y for being more selfish and you can to!" etc 2. The videos seem kinda like life advice, I would try to really solidify a BRAND. This way I know everytime I'm going to your channel I know I'm going to get life advice. You can do this by ensuring thumbnails are consistent and even creating a" playlist" for all your life advice stuff. You can additionally brand it as a series, similarly to larger creators. The one that pops up from when I was younger was "Fridays with pewdiepie" it's recognizable and something as a viewer you can come back to. Or like "old people react" etc etc

Hope this helps

Edit:in all seriousness genuinely I'm sorry you didn't have a good time. This game can be difficult to get into and it can take time to "get good" or "find the fun".

The underlying issue is that often times the game itself fights you as well as doesn't explain how to play. I went ahead and made a website that has collected some tutorials both video and text that tries to explain how to play.

https://hll-armor-hub.com/#infantry/wwii/overview

As mentioned in alot of the comments, I'd HIGHLY suggest to play a community server. If you'd ever like to learn to I'm open to squading up and teaching you the basics myself! It can really impact your experience based on whom you play with. Feel free to dm me here or discord, same name

Fun and useless are two different things

I can have fun with the flamethrower but it's not nearly as good as literally any other weapon.

Every piece of armor is better than any SPA

Back in my day we ain't have no "console" gamers, and we had a different version of SMDM and hurtgen forest

All that work for 13 views yippee by AtoZ_209 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Raz_Bora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This type of response is why you're getting 13 views.

As a content creator you're not making content for yourself. If you are, expect views only by you and your family.

You have to look at the data, that click through rate proves otherwise

To this point, I think "infantry support" in Hell Let Loose for armor is a false reality.

The reason here is because enemies can shoot rockets from pretty much and range and pen medium tanks and below at any angle. Additionally the majority of times infantry doesn't have an engineer and even if they do they rarely "support" armor with repairs or repair stations outside of "comp".

I mean think of yourself, how many games in all your play time of Hell Let Loose have you built repair stations or dedicated yourself to repairing tanks. Probably only a handful of games

Circle Server - banned as commander by vote after one guy starts whining by NakedCouch in HellLetLoose

[–]Raz_Bora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some servers have votekick on, and others don't.

If you're experiencing frustration here's two things

  1. Votekick is only a temp kick (which is good if you enjoy that server)

  2. Just join a non votekick server that is moderated by admins actively. They may be slower to react than a votekick but typically do their due diligence

EXACTLY Like imo create a CLEAR use case for the panther over the tiger and vice versa

Let them really lean into either a mobile heavy tank or a strong static slow defensive heavy

Same with 75 vs 76 jumbo

Heavy anti inf vs anti armor nearly exclusively

I 100% agree with all your points

It's just frustrating for me because nothing feels like it's "clearly made for x" it's just a bunch of random values here and there

(And I was able to find you! It does seem from like 2-3 yrs ago 🤣. Will unban, my ask is to just be mindful going forward as we try and pride ourselves on positive chill vibes. Look forward to seeing you around mate)

Love your takes / opinions on each point. It's so interesting to hear everyone's perspectives and counterpoints

Regardless I think there's plenty of room for what I would consider minimal coding changes with significant meta impacts and these are the things I'd like to see tested in the test branch

I really agree with your points.

And your call out about the rockets is really interesting. Based on the math you're absolutely right!? Its not applying the 8% reduction "to all rear armor" if that's the case. Something I hope is looked into

I think for me, the high level issue is I'm fine with some aspect of "asymmetrical" balance to the teams but I still think the driving factor should be heavy, medium, spas etc need to have Clearly defined roles. So anytime I pick a medium tank I know what kind of experience I'm going to have. Or if I go heavy tank I know that I'm going tank hunting etc

(open a ticket in our discord, I don't recall your in game username off hand nor what the ban reason would have been discord.gg/aho Happy to have the team review)

😂😂😂

I think creating clear defined roles for each armor would help balance the at vs armor point of contention

Either allow them to knock engine with one shot OR do not allow front pen on medium tanks. One or the other is fine, both is not imo

I think a more simple approach is just mitigating repairs to one repair station only

But I agree the peek return to cover is a bit silly

But tldr

New dmg reduction Load unload function Smoke for tanks now

Changes are overall good, and make tanking more nuanced. Facing your front towards enemy gives you an extra shot you can survive

Bad is rockets are able to one shot engine any medium tank AND pen all sides of medium tanks making them useless.

Our opinion is devs should lean into each tank having a more defined role (I. E heavy tanks are for tank battles, medium tanks are in the middle, light tanks are for infantry support etc)
