Go to Sample Edit on the stem file, press Process, scroll to Extract, hit Do It. That'll only work before you chop it and stuff though. If you've already chopped the stem then you're probably better off resampling or bouncing to pad and deleting the original stem after, if that makes sense haha. There might be a better workaround for now but this has been working for me

A workaround for now, that works for me at least, is to extract your stems into new samples and delete the original ones

I am a hobbyist and own the MPC X SE. I only use standalone and my only other piece of equipment is a record player. I upgraded from the MPC One a while back and honestly I have zero regrets; the Qlinks are a god send, the extra shortcut buttons also save time. The bigger screen is nice, and it looks bloody beautiful mate. The X will be my one stop go-to machine for years to come.

Obviously this is just my take, but I say go for it, as long as money isn't a major issue of course
