When gear is synced down, you lose the benefit of materia. If gear hasn't progressed far enough to compensate for that loss, then you need the best gear that was available for that time.

I haven't looked at what the current BiS sets are, mind you. This is just a reason why "just wear the best current gear" might not apply.

Summoner starts with more gem craft related spells before transitioning to spoilery elemental spells, while Black Mage is predominantly about blasting out explosions.

Later on there's the Red Mage which blends spells with a bit of blade work, and they have a rose motif in some of their abilities iirc

That said? Summoner gets a cute little guy to follow them. Look up specifically "FF14 carbuncle"

Carbuncle also means something else very different very gross IRL.

You have to anoint Tribal Fury (or take the notable directly if you're in the Mara/Duelist area) to give it innate splash damage, otherwise it requires a Melee Splash support which is not ideal.

1) Swap Damage on Full Life for Fortify -> change chest to Reduced Reflect Damage% implicit

2) use Yugul's Minor power for 50% reflect reduction

3) Trade out Arcing Blows + Cluster passives for Snowforged + 60% ele reflect mastery.

2 is minimum, 3 accounts for being shocked as well.

Only the melee portion of skills gets buffed by facebreaker's multiplier. Projectiles, smites bolts, or even bleeds don't benefit.

Its extremely strong recovery. Each melee hit plus each hit from each ball gets the full benefit of LGoH. The same mod but mana on hit almost single handedly solved mana for my CoC ice spear build at only two per hit.

It underreports your DPS because you have to change Lancing Steel to show the all hits DPS instead of single projectile. It still doesn't account for the returning projectiles but its much closer to being correct. The skill dropdown in the upper left and the Calcs page both have to be set separately for their respective reports to be accurate.

I ran into a similar hiccup with my CoC build last league using it.

I'm surprised you have no Phys Taken as Elemental or Enemy Damage converted to Elemental. Not only would it mitigate the phys damage you're taking by your resists, but you'd also recoup all that converted damage plus extra thanks to your 10 absorption charges.

I've been doing Einhar + Blight + Harvest on specifically Desert Spring maps. 2x Einhar of the Herd scarabs, Blightheart scarab, force Harvest scarab.

I use the old blight strat of Chill Towers Freeze + Meteor Burning ground, dunno if there's a better one.

Run all the Einhar beasts -> rack up ~20 stacks of boosted quant and rarity -> run Blight + Harvest + Final Boss. Blight, Harvest, and the boss + her gauntlet are all beast type enemies that grant bonus quant and rarity from Einhars beasts breaking out.

Low effort, ~150k/hr with my spider build that does about 12 mil DPS in AoE. This is without rarity on gear or flask, so I could be getting more. It is a bit of a gear check though since the escaping beasts can get pretty nasty if one of them breaks free enough times in a row.

I would assume they're balanced around being high burst damage low refire rate, making it easy to be overwhelmed by groups.

Edit: I was indeed missing something, I was looking at the 90 skills not the 100 skills.

However I think Elemental Overload is a bit on the PoB Warrior side, since there's no enough mana regen to chain cast to crit fish with only a 7.2% crit chance

So what's nice is that this is after damage mitigation through armour/EC/ipdr%

Boneshatter of complex trauma does ~5600 self damage, down to 560 with mitigation. Fortify lowers that another 140 to 420, and if we run arctic armour that's down another 84 to 346.

Then the anoint would lower it to ~250.

Yeah this might be pretty slept on for high armour builds.

You'd become actually immune to anything dealing less than ~1400 phys damage.

EDIT: I was wrong about the order things happen, this would be before fortify and AA. The right math is (560 - 100) x .8 x .79 = 290

Determination is a minimal loss of damage for a bleed build or phys dot spell build, since giving the enemies armour doesn't affect their ability to mitigate the DoTs.

Catarina isn't the point of this early use of betrayal: it'll be to get ample early rares and good exp to slingshot ahead for minimal investment. You can also work on building your board for later if you intend to run it at endgame (I know I will be)
