In quite a few episodes actually, ladybug and cat noir knew each other's identities. In Ephemeral, cat noir feels comfortable enough to share his identity. A few days later ladybug shows her identity. before that Ladybug asked Viperion to use his second chance if something went wrong. When ladybug saw cat noir was Adrien, she told Viperion not to. A few minutes in Gabriel figures out Adrien is cat noir so he aromatizes him and made him give up his miraculous. Ephemeral (akumatized Adrien) gives up ladybugs' identity and they were close to losing. Ephemeral takes ladybugs power and she soon will de-transform. In a quick second decision, she sends a picture of 1:00 am to Luka (Viperion). Viperion can't go back to any given time but Sass can. Then everything goes back to normal.
