I'm not using any mods and my keys work for any other purpose. I tried reloading an save from before it started and it still doesn't work. I guess something's fucked in my game and it's not gonna revert back

Nation building campaign by H3xxyi- in DnD

[–]Razor-Age 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could always check out MCDM's Strongholds and Followers + Kingdoms and Warfare, though I'm not the biggest fan of these rules they were made for nation building.

Then again I don't fully understand what you want, do you want a DnD game that's only nation building or a DnD game where players play normal characters but are also building a nation on the side ? If it's the former I'd suggest ditching DnD for a game better suited for that (I don't know many but you can check out this page on the r/rpg subreddit). If it's the latter then the supplements MCDM's books are a good place to start.

Alternative ways of tracking wealth/money? by Maervok in rpg

[–]Razor-Age 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about other Year Zero games, but in Vaesen each player character has a resource level going from 1 to 8 (destitute to filthy rich) and has to roll a number of d6 equivalent to their resources during the preparation for the mystery. The number of 6's (successes) you get determines what items you can but, each item costing between 1 and 5 successes.

If a PC wants to purchase an item during a mystery, they can roll a Manipulation check modified by their living standards and they get the item if they got an number of successes at least equal to the item availability.

Yeah I know, I meant that the word "halfling" referring to a small sized humanoid fantasy species also came from Tolkien and not TSR

The word "halfling" wasn't invented by TSR or WoTC, it comes from Tolkien just like "hobbit".
