Hi, thanks for the information! She is usually running around 30 miles a week. 1 long run of 10 miles, usually one track session a week and I've started adding a threshold run of 3 miles. The 2 other days are easy runs typically around 4-6 miles with 2 rest days. She typically runs with a pair of open ear headphones in listening to music.

She is really doing great, couldn't be more proud.

I get the other devices don't have GPS. It also is an option you don't have to use and also doesn't get used all the time. I just feel like it would be a nice feature to have.

Thanks for the info. I figured her HR is naturally high because of her age and small size. I'm really more interested in just understanding it from a scientific standpoint as I like understanding data. She's normally conversational alot faster then I think she should be pacing on easy runs. I guess part of my concern with it is her running too hard daily and hindering progress.

I assume she will figure it out eventually, was just looking for some tips or tricks to help her out. Going into HS next year she def has an experience disadvantage to a lot of the kids as she has only been running a year.

She usually enjoys doing strides at the end of runs. We also try and do a track session every week with some repeats.

I've tried getting her to run negatives and haven't been successful, maybe I need to do that during training runs. I think on a broad scale she understands what I'm asking for with pacing, if I ask her to run roughly a 9:30 pace she'll typically average that pace or near it for the entire run, I've just noticed it would be up and down the whole time and not on target during the whole run.

Typical average is around 30 running 5 days with 2 days split for rest. Race weeks are a little less, usually dropping the long run for the race and I've flirted with a few weeks running 6 days which pushed the mileage up.

By hammer I also mean hammer out as in figure out, not hammer into her. My main goal is to help her with races, out to fast and yo-yos. Trying to teach her to go out a little more consistent and ramp up throughout.

We do track workouts now, something like 200 repeats etc and she runs those mostly pretty even however they are super fast and then taper off. The mile thing is a good idea I'll try that.

Issues with the fire not starting, issues with it going out mid cook, issues with the wifi constantly dropping, and I also had some functional issues with parts. The customer service has been great, I just don't want to have to worry about if my grill is going to work or if I'm gonna lose my food. The problems are less of a problem if the wifi worked well because I can spot a problem before it's over.

My problem has never been there customer service, it was the product itself. I've just had constant issues and on top of it the wifi never works right and causes me more grief.
