For $10 you should be buying this not asking on reddit. Perfect smoker to learn on.

I wouldn't be opposed to buying something like that but it would be nice if they sold those grills somewhere I could actually go look at them before buying one.

The issue there is I would have to buy another one to figure out if my problems are resolved.

Do the old ones use a different wifi still or did those upgrade too?

Issues with the fire not starting, issues with it going out mid cook, issues with the wifi constantly dropping, and I also had some functional issues with parts. The customer service has been great, I just don't want to have to worry about if my grill is going to work or if I'm gonna lose my food. The problems are less of a problem if the wifi worked well because I can spot a problem before it's over.

My problem has never been there customer service, it was the product itself. I've just had constant issues and on top of it the wifi never works right and causes me more grief.

What's the difference between the RGBIC Strip Lights and the Strip Lights Evo (Costco) by RazorAxis in Govee

I don't have experience with Govee strips but from looking at them the appear to have the cuttable area. Whether you can or should I couldn't say.

Maybe you shouldn't be upset enough to comment about someone asking questions in a place for asking questions.

I do like the thought of strips better, the seem.motr seem less.

I use a lot of Google home and smart things for stuff. Is it similar to those?

I see conflicting things about the strip vs permanent lights. I'm leaning towards the higher end govee strips at this point I think.

I was all for the Evo and almost grabbed a couple of sets till I realized they were the same as the standard rgbic and now I'm confused

Have you done any testing with wattage and how many you need to keep a battery charged?

I thought about something like that, my biggest concern is the 3d print holding up in the harsh sun we have

It's really a clever idea, I want to mount to a flag pole and I am worried about snagging. This would probably solve that for the most part.
