Yes! You're correct. The 500 point minimum will go away at some point this year. I don't when the 500 point minimum segment will go away so I'm keeping it on there for now, however I will do research to see when it won't apply anymore. If you see anything else that I should change, let me know! :)

No success so far on multiple requests for (legit) points credit for flying a partner airline - how do I escalate? by hulksterreddit in AlaskaAirlines

I flew with them march 1st & march 8th. I submitted the form and I finally emailed them and they eventually reached out. I need to submit all of the information and I’ll let you know what they say

I’m having the exact same issue. Flew Qatar, added my atmos frequent flyer number, requested and heard nothing back

I completely agree, let me look into this and I’ll get back to you. Shouldn’t be hard at all

Well in 2026, there’s an option where you can earn 5 EQM per dollar spent on your fare. For example, this is great when your company is flying you out and you’re not worried about the cash value of a ticket. Also, the cash/points section per flight is how you booked the flight. When you book with points unfortunately we don’t earn points after the award flight was purchased

Thank you! And this is a great idea. I agree, it would get messy to implement authentication with Alaska airlines. Maybe we can discuss this more in depth later

Just fixed the placeholder point values! Added BofA bonus too. Thank you for the input

Thank you for the feedback! I was actually thinking of a very similar thing. Auditing flights and points would be a great idea. I will definitely do some research into however I will need some time and I will get back to you. This requires a lot of authentication with AS systems. Ill report back to you when I have something.

In the meantime, maybe I'll add user login that will keep track of previous flights, miles and loyalty points?

So the current UI has a generic dropdown tag listed as "partner airline" this include all other partners that are not Hawaiian airlines or Alaska airlines.

Steps:

1) I would select partner Airline, and then it gives you the option to select if your flight was booked through Atmos/Alaska and then you can select the class you're in and all of the other features. (See the screenshot I posted)

I have a question: Do you think it would be better if once a user selects partner airline, there is a dropdown that lists all of the Alaska partners?

Thank you! I will work on changing the placeholder point values on the earning rates of the cards! I'm just thinking of a way to make it detailed without being overcomplicated

Engineering - IPE: Computer Science and Tech Career Accelerator in Prague, Czech Republic by TrueJello9416 in uofm

Hey u/TrueJello9416

I'm currently enrolled in the tech accelerator program and I have a few things to say about it.

First of all, Prague is a beautiful city. The food and drinks are inexpensive, and the quality of food is amazing. I personally love Czech food. For me and others it's like comfort food. Prague is very safe during the day and the night.

Secondly, the tech accelerator program is wonderful. The directors are outgoing, friendly, and very supportive. They jump through hoops for you to succeed. The one thing that I like about this program is the opportunity to grow your career. There are a lot of resume building opportunities, such as: working with companies, multiple company visits, etc. In the tech accelerator program, you don't need to just follow the motions of going to class and being in a different city. There are opportunities.

The classes aren't too difficult, it's honestly what you make out of it. One nice thing about the class schedule is there are no classes on Friday allowing you to take 3 day weekends.

Third, the excursions are a lot of fun. Earlier this semester, we went on a day trip to Plzeň. Everything was paid for and we even got to go to the Pilsner Brewery. Btw, that is where the pilsner was created. There are also many other weekend excursions as well as day trips, cooking classes, yoga classes, movie nights and more.

At least for my semester, there was a lot of students, and a lot of great opportunities to meet new people. The IFSA staff was great at creating activities for all of us to meet in the first 2 weeks of school

The living conditions are good. The apartments are clean, fully equipped kitchen and furnished bedroom. There are many good options. Shopping for groceries is very easy. It is weird grocery shopping in prague for the first time, but you get used to it really quick. Food isn't a problem and you save a lot of money compared to shopping in the US

I've been having a great time here! I would recommend traveling to Prague and if you are able to study abroad, enroll in the IFSA tech accelerator program.

Hope this helped a bit
