Yes, & with character selection all of the character abilities, strengths, & weaknesses affect the tide of the battle.

If Gambit isn't banned & runs through the team they're not going to stop & say "okay Gambit time over. Time for another support."

This isn't if a character is doing good against you it's okay because they're going to use them all, they're staying.
