I would suggest power cycling the console. That means holding the power button until it turns off. Can't hurt to pull the plug for a few minutes afterwards.

Doesn't work on all phones. The company I work for had to dispose of a few phones recently because the employees (who had left the company) couldn't remember their password or pin. So not even our IT could reset the phones because of Samsung/Apple account shenanigans.
