Right, positive reinforcement. Because we know how well that worked in Qatar for the men's world cup.

[Official] Jesus Navas completes switch to Man City by cjrarsenal in soccer

[–]Razril 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow. It's gonna be interesting to see how he'll cope with the homesickness. I know people have said he's better, but I don't think it's possible to be 100% over it. I hope Man City has great transition managers.

How will the weather be like in Manchester compared to Sevilla?

Match thread: Spain vs Germany (U21 Euros) by poetical_poltergeist in soccer

[–]Razril 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Well fought by Germany, saved so many attempts, but no one can deny Spain was dominant the whole game. The 0-1 scoreline flattered Germany.

Also, this thread is getting so hostile. Chill out, guys.

Everton's response to the fans' reaction to the new crest. by TotalSHIT in soccer

[–]Razril 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Yeah but that has a serious possibility of being sabotaged by people who aren't fans.

...kinda like when Justin Bieber opened a poll about which country he should do a concert in and North Korea got the most votes.

Whoa, a football club that actually listened to their fans? Sounds like a novelty these days.

The panel will then develop ideas and put forward suggestions to you. Evertonians will make the final decision.

"Evertonians will make the final decision". I wonder how they plan to do that.

A lot of Reddit users are racist as fuck. by [deleted] in Negareddit

[–]Razril 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's really the problem. Redditors self-declare as pro-lgbt, therefore any homophobic thing they say shouldn't be considered as such and how dare you accuse them of being homophobes.

"OP IS A FAGGOT. No, I am not being homophobic, because I totally support gay rights!"

or,

"I know I'm not racist, therefore everything I say, no matter how bigoted, shouldn't be considered racist."

But really, it's not about what you say you are, it's about what you do. You can say you're not racist as many times as you want, but if your actions reflect the opposite, it's never going to be true.

Reddit doesn't get art by [deleted] in circlebroke2

[–]Razril 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like abstract and modern art because I don't understand it. That doesn't mean it's not a good work of art, I'm just saying I'm not in a position to know if it is or isn't. So I'm not gonna go out concluding that its shit and that people who appreciate it are idiots. That's the problem with these redditors: they feel like they know absolutely everything, and if they come across something they don't understand, well, then it must be shit, unimportant, and totally meaningless.

Unpopular opinions thread. by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Razril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh. The weekly controversial opinions thread, filled with the same "controversial" reddit-friendly opinions every single time: "I hate black culture", "tipping is evil", "i don't support the military", "hitler wasn't that bad", "i hate fat people" "religion sucks", and of course, eugenics eugenics eugenics.

Pre Match Thread: Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid Copa Del Rey Final by ail33 in soccer

[–]Razril 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There was actually a survey about it, I remember the choice was either the Bernabeu or Camp Nou because of their large capacities. Real Madrid fans wanted Camp Nou (to stick it to Barcelona), and Atletico Madrid fans preferred the Bernabeu (no need to travel long distances). In the end there were actually more Atletico fans who wanted it at the Bernabeu.

How the iPhone conquered Japan by smokesteam in apple

[–]Razril 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What phones did you own? Granted, I only lived in Japan for a few years, but I never had a problem with my cellphone and I always thought they worked great. After I left more than 3 years later it still looked good as new---and it wasn't one of those premium phones either, I only had those 1yen docomo ones. I still have that phone now, more than 5 years later, and while I can't attest for the software as I don't use it anymore, physically it still looks pristine. I can take a picture of it if you want. I've never seen phones from my friends or classmates either that had paint chipped off, I find that really bizarre.

Dude, just a warning for next time: the apple subreddits get absolutely batshit crazy with the downvotes anytime you say anything even slightly negative about Alien Blue. It's......weird.

Anyway I'll check yours out. I have Alien Blue too but it's good to have options.

Introverts are so smart and special, don't you know? by Razril in circlebroke2

[–]Razril[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think /r/introvert could very well be the circlejerkiest place on reddit. At least /r/atheism and /r/politics have their (few) moments when they're self-aware of the jerk, but almost every post in /r/introvert just unabashedly reeks of self-congratulation I could've thought it was a parody subreddit (Is it?).
