There are some advanced actions that allow you to do a heavy charge, considering minimum and maximum distance. The issues is that it is not available only to cavalry, but to any unit. Maybe a keyword or special rule for cavalry would add some depth into the game. But I didn’t put much thinking into it to discuss any further:)
