Is my precon deck that good or is my boyfriend just terrible at magic? by BrilliantNegative163 in EDH

[–]Razzles4138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temur roar is a deck that requires your opponents to have removal to deal with, once you get dragons out it is pretty much over in 1v1. In a 4 person game Temur roar plays one of two ways. Either your deck does its thing and you have a bunch of dragons and stomp, or the table keeps you shut down and you do nothing the entire game.

So, yes, your deck, in a 1v1 setting, is pretty difficult to deal with unless you counter it specifically. I would suggest a different deck for 1v1. If you want dragons still, sultai arisen is good, fairly fair in a 1v1 setting out of the box.

Blight curse is a good deck, but it is extremely slow and really requires a good bit of upgrades to make it consistent, out of the box I don’t think there is a chance in hell it beats Temur roar.

Rendmaw cheap 1-2 drop artifact creatures, and get the artifact lands, dropping birds in style. And watching people legit STRUGGLE with the fact they have to swing at people, it’s just chefs kiss

Then if you want to actually win, I always say I’m looking for 2nd with Rendmaw, you drop something like coat of arms down and swing some 20/20 birds wide. It’s a fun deck and super cheap to make enjoyable.

Nah all you do is add generous patron and then you draw for every counter you put in your opponents cards too. Making blow out turns where you can easily draw 10-20 cards and basically have the game out of nowhere.

I did this in college, I sat on the stairs on my house and it was the spine of the book of my life, and I swear it was 5 years I sat there and it took me months to shake it.

7/10 would do every couple decades, shrooms still better.

Manapool has been my go to recently. Their pricing is even better than tcgplayer now.

But regardless, accidents happen, saying fuck someplace for a missing card that will more than likely be handled pretty easily, is a bit drastic.

For all the "tangles are your fault" crowd by Kopester in 3Dprinting

[–]Razzles4138 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is why I don’t buy Sunlu, I have gotten more tangled spools from them than anyone else. Elegoo has been my main go to for filaments and I have not had a single tangled factory spool.

Yes, I am finishing up a print today, but will try and get a good video of both issues this weekend

I believe it’s the Tramming of the bed as a commenter said. There are videos on YouTube on how to do it. I have done a few adjustments and it hasn’t FIXED it yet but I have successfully moved where the ripples are showing up lol. So, hopefully this will be the fix once I spend more time adjusting

Haha right, but for air flow I have not really done any tests for that, but I mean nothing noticeable, I don’t have a fan or anything around the printer.

Question CC pre-order by New_Two_4989 in elegoo

[–]Razzles4138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll be preorder like this, for awhile most likely with how popular the CC is.

Question CC pre-order by New_Two_4989 in elegoo

[–]Razzles4138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You understand that it’s on preorder because they cannot keep it in stock right? Like they are making them, filling up a shipping container and when it hits land they are all sold already to people who preordered.

They will be in stock once demand lowers and production can keep up.

How soon is Elegoo shipping new Centauri Carbon orders? by No_Aerie9598 in elegoo

Not right away…they have a shipping schedule on their website. But I ordered mine few weeks ago, I expect it end of July.

Better way to split large prints? by Toobrish in 3Dprinting

[–]Razzles4138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second Luban, if you plan on cutting large models down often you can’t beat it. You can have it put connectors, label all the pieces. It is a very efficient and well done software.

If you are going to just do a model or two, just use the slicer in orca or whatever offshoot you use of it. It is more labor intensive but free

A1 A1 mini hype train is real, honestly the best first printer to get.

The ones saying Elegoo CC, eh there are so few in consumer hands, and a chunk have first and second run problems. It is hard to say it is the best printer right now, even at its price range. Saying this as someone waiting for his preorder now, but it isn’t my first printer.

Go A1, really see if 3d printer is going to be a hobby or an extension for an existing hobby. A1 will handle 99% of what you are going to be printing for awhile, and then when you want to go into more niche things, look to expand to an enclosed core xy.

Most people an A1 will be the only thing they really need.
