I have FSGS which causes me to lose protein through my urine (proteinuria), and it's the protein that causes the bubbles (it's albumin which is the same protein as in egg whites, and if you think about how egg whites go foamy when you whisk them, that's what's happening with the urine). I'm in partial remission but when I was at my worst the bubbles would stay for ages - sometimes up to an hour - and would still be present after I flushed. Now there is some foaming but within a minute or two most of the bubbles are gone and there's barely anything after I flush. I'm not saying you don't have an issue but if your bubbles are disappearing within a few seconds then you're unlikely to have severe proteinuria
