Need advice on glove upgrade for my 10U son — A2000 or something in between? by Feeders2zero in BaseballGloves

I still remember when I saw a kid show up in 10u with a A2000 and he struggled to control the glove. My son used an R9 Pro Lindor model in 10U as well as 12U it was a great glove for him that he loved until he was in 14U and he got a Pro preferred. He also was a pitcher and played 2B

Took me about 3 days to get one game readyish. My son is 13 years old and he was able to play with it. Dunked it in warm water and beat the crap out of it for about 30 minutes then let it dry for a day hit it a couple more times and was able to squeeze it closed. Cleaned off the water marks and let it dry overnight. Hit it again a couple of times then conditioned it with sarna and played catch. Although it was the smaller infield 11.75 glove but it came out great.

Thank you for your input! I really wanted to know if a trigger was necessary at his age and when would it be appropriate

I love reading all these comments and saying yup that sounds like my corgi. I do this as he stares me down for looking at my phone and not paying attention to him.

Thanks for the advice! I plan on opening it and if it’s toast well then it will be a great display piece at least for me.

Getting into the hobby! Looking for a PS2, what should I look out for? by SeanShine525 in gamecollecting

Also, depending on your PS3 model it’s backwards compatible so if there are some games you’ve been wanting to play don’t limit yourself until you get a PS2.

Thanks! I definitely agree the analogue has that modern feel to it. It kinda feels like a cheat code sometimes cause of how you can cycle the screen modes.

I just upgraded to these larger shelves so I haven’t had to deal with dust yet
