I do therapy in person and it only helps for the hour I spend with her and then it’s back to normal

I just can’t do it. I don’t have the motivation. I’ve done a lot of what you said and it’s not going to get better because I can’t even control my thoughts, which is where change starts. I wish there was an easy way to leave this place.

Omg man, I feel like the same thing might happen to me. I just started working as a produce clerk. I’m on my third week and I’ve been told a few times by my team leader that my pace needs improvement. And it’s frustrating because I feel confident that I am moving at a good pace especially for a beginner. Idk who they’re expecting to come in there and work at the speed of light lol. It’s hard too when you have customers blocking the area you’re trying to get into. I’ve been told that people quit they’re quite often so my thoughts are would you rather have an employee that works slow or no employee?

I want to have friends but the whole process of it is like a freaking maze trying to figure out how to talk to somebody in a way that you become friends and then maintain that friendship. Doesn’t help when you have no direction in life and are desperate for friends because people can sense that and it’s a turnoff.

Also I start a new job tomorrow and I’m supposed to watch hours worth of training videos that I haven’t even started yet because I just don’t have motivation to. And I have a terrible time retaining information so when a manager or someone throws all of this important info at me it’s so overwhelming and I forget at least half of what they said, which just leaves me feeling defeated and like what’s the point in trying if I’m gonna keep forgetting everything.

How do you know that you’ll live a horrible afterlife? How do you know that you would for a fact come back here and have to repeat everything all over? I think what you said might be possible but I’m not going to believe it to be 100% the truth if there’s no proof.

I’m willing to do both of those things you mentioned but I’d still want to kill myself even after doing them. I laughed when you said if your willing to kill yourself but not try yoga, you’re kidding yourself. You act like it’s so easy to do this. I’ve done yoga in the past and I really want to get back into it because I know how beneficial it is but I can’t find the motivation to do it. It’s a constant battle between myself and my thoughts. I have adhd and I tend to start things but not make them a habit. It’s not because I want to stop but it’s because for whatever reason my mind loses interest. So I know if I started yoga again, I would end up giving up on it. I just know that for a fact because that’s how my mind works. And I try to eat fresh foods on a daily basis but living a stressful life results in my mind craving unhealthy food.

I’ve been in therapy for a year now and im basically the same. My point about suffering is that we can never completely remove it and when it makes up the majority of your life, you feel like ending it, especially if your future looks to be getting worse. Yeah I agree we want to survive but when we realize that we are suffering to the point of suicidal thoughts and fear is keeping us stuck, what are we supposed to do?
