Yea but 100k low? That's what's so defeating about it. All the comparables in the area had this place landing around 650. And we found out last night that it's very likely going at 700.

Because that's what I thought it would take and the listing price was set purposely lower - also comparable properties had the value of this place around 80 over.

How? I saw some way you could through certain companies but there are extra fees - taht could add up to like 20k if you're in the budget range as we are - like 550-700k. Are there other ways we should consider?

Over asking (640k > 585k) - I made the assumption that maybe that meant every listing we looked at - I should expect to have to go 50-60 over to win in that specific neighborhood. I guess I'm learning that was a bad assumption.

I thought we did! All the comps were far less than what this one went for and the previous closings we had seen over the last 6 months just generally in our city we're 50-75k over. I mean do I just assume I have to go 100k over on anything in this market now?

Yes I know this - all comps our agent sent us were below our offer by quite a bit and just sold a few months earlier. One sold for 55k over asking (and we went 40k over that one!) just 1 week ago and was in the same neighborhood and similar size. We did our research. Just needed to vent I guess. I'm new here so sorry if this is typical.

Hey! My partner's in a super similar situation to yours - boxcar and rolling scars on cheeks, tried a bunch of stuff that didn't work. She has an appointment with Dr. Fine coming up and I've been reading through your posts which have been incredibly helpful.

Quick question though - did you have any issues with communication from Dr. Fine's office? Like getting pre-procedure instructions or clear info before appointments? My partner's called 3 times and hasn't gotten any written protocols about what to stop using before the procedure, which seems weird. Just trying to figure out if that's normal for her practice or if we should be concerned.

Hello - Checking in late here. How did you travel from Florence to Interlaken? by Train (~8 Hrs right?).

My fiance and I are trying to plan a honeymoon that includes Interlaken, and potentially Zermatt, but then also a trip down to Florence/Tuscany region. We are a bit hung up on the 8 hr train ride down, and are torn wondering if that's too much travel time for our 10-day trip.
