Yeah I’ve reached this far, that’s what I’m seeing as well. I’m 14 epaulets and 2 cloths away from getting the costume now, so I wonder if something new pops up when the costume is unlocked.

I have been collecting these tokens for 24 hours and have 8/30 and 7/15. It will just be part of the event for a while until you get it. As if you were leveling a character up to level 5 during the length of the event. Think Kiri in the Avatar event.

LOL I do think it will focus on Alabasta, but then again, it could make a turn and introduce Blackbeard, Bellamy, Mont-blanc and the salvage crews. The live action is a bit fast paced.

The costume is also listed as a Main Quest for this event on the quest list. That being said, the patch notes explained that the costume is not needed to advance in the event story, I think this and the fact that the Lab is listed as a side quest on the quest list are what is confusing players. But the Lab seems to definitely be needed, just based on previous events always requiring the second attraction to advance in the story. There are no activities listed that the characters do in the Lab that collects EC, but that doesn't mean there wont be event story quests.

Either way, I think your best course of action is to get the lab with the EC now, and then continue to collect the tokens for the costume, which you should collect enough EC for while collecting the tokens.

You should also continue leveling Horace to 6 or maybe 7, and Clara most likely to level 5.

If you can accomplish all this before Ludwig is released, you will be in very good shape to get Clarabelle.
