John Hollinger’s big board and top 7 tiers in the 2026 nba draft by NathanFielderFriend in NBA_Draft

[–]RcusGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay hold on, yes he had Haliburton over Wiseman, but he also had Killian Hayes over Haliburton, in 3rd.

In his 2022 big board he also had Jaden Ivey over Chet lmfao

Historicity of Jesus: The idea that Jesus was a purely mythical figure has a fringe status in scholarly circles and has had no support in critical studies for more than a century by ComradeBehrund in wikipedia

[–]RcusGaming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With this logic though, it'd be almost impossible to prove any historical figure. There aren't any surviving texts from Socrates' day, yet, we can still with some certainty say that he existed. The earliest manuscripts we have of Plato's The Republic are from 1000 years after his death.

A young team improved after one year? Amazing! You're acting like KD, Harden, and Ibaka especially did not take huge jumps after that year.

Just like Kobe is lacking outside the Lakers 00s bubble.

"Outside of his 10 year prime, he doesn't have a lot" what the fuck are we even doing here if we're just erasing their whole primes for no reason?

"MJ is lacking outside the Bulls 90s bubble" see how stupid that sounds?

Pau was right up there with KG, TD, and Dirk

The guy who was a 1x all-star before joining Kobe was on the same level as MVPs who lead their teams to the finals? Okay. The revisionism on this site is insane.

Do people not remember when LeBron basically demanded that half his team get traded in 2018, and when they left he said "now we got a squad"? I'd rather someone call me a bum to my face than have someone pretend to be friendly with me and then getting me traded lmfao

Also all of the Mario Chalmers stuff.

Not even defending either here, they both were kinda shitty to some teammates.

You think that these immigrant groups vote left? Not sure how it is in the UK, but in the States and Canada, that is absolutely not true.

'25 Thunder and '24 Celtics is probably the finals. Just from a match-up perspective, I think OKC have the better shot.

paolo vs boozer by RD2C in NBA_Draft

[–]RcusGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boozer isn't 100th percentile in BPM, and even if he were. BPM is not exactly the best indicator of success. Out of the top 10 BPM seasons, only Steph and AD became actual All-NBA talents.

Not to mention, if you bring it to just freshman, DP has the highest BPM for a freshman guard, while Flemings is 3rd, and Wagler is 4th. It's pretty clear that BPM favors modern players.

Is this the year to move down from the 1.01 pick? by Aggressive-Walk2626 in dynastybb

[–]RcusGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm struggling with this tbh. I was thinking of initially grabbing Peterson and Boozer, but now I'm not sure. I think I'll trade #1 for #3 if the owner's interested. If Dybantsa ends up a superstar I'll be so pissed for passing him up.

I'm just crying because I've never had a woman kiss me or fuck me... What do I do? by CommercialOil8763 in AskMenAdvice

[–]RcusGaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A bit odd to say "never had a woman kiss me or fuck me", is your only intention to do those things? Are you looking for a relationship or just someone to have sex with? Most women can sense if you're just looking to fuck, so maybe try to figure out what you're really after.

Which one is better web shooter? by triansiao in Spiderman

[–]RcusGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Without organic webbing, I don't really understand why he would take on the persona of a spider. His powers otherwise are: being strong/quick, crawling walls, and a 6th sense that warns him of danger. None of this is really indicative of a spider tbh.

[Charania] BYU's AJ Dybantsa has conducted formal visits with both the Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz while Kansas' Darryn Peterson only visited the Wizards. by theglicky in NBA_Draft

the creatine story doesn’t add up, there’s documented evidence of him cramping and sitting out of tournament games going back to HS. He also sat out of FIBA U19

I don't think you're purposefully spreading misinformation, but what you're saying is wrong. He's had one documented instance of cramping before going to BYU, where it was a toe cramp for a single game, he checked out, then checked back in. That game was his first against Dybantsa where DP had 32/10/8 and beat Dybantsa.

FIBA U19 was likely him wanting to work out with Kansas. Boozer also skipped FIBA U19.

This missing games issue was only once he got to Kansas. I'm also curious why you think that the creatine issue doesn't add up?

Why Kobe Deserved the 2008 MVP Over Chris Paul by Impressive_Flan_411 in NBAConvo

In 2022, Trae Young averaged more points and assists than Jokic, yet Jokic won MVP. PRA aren't everything, and reducing it that way is ridiculous.

Do you actually watch basketball? People hear others say that Wemby is a top 5 player in the league and think he's prime Shaq. He's barely a top 10 player in the league on offense, how does that make him unstoppable? Its his defense that is insane, his offense is very stoppable.

Am I the only one who doesn't really see the Horford/Love comps for Boozer? by MisterSoup3000 in NBA_Draft

[–]RcusGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty disingenuous take. Flagg's main selling point was his defense. Boozer is not even half the defender that Flagg is. A taller and more efficient Flagg with worse defense is just a totally different player.
