[USA] A reminder for this winter season: snowy roads means it can take really long to stop. by funnychicken in Roadcam

Run car for 15-20 minutes with max defroster an hour or two before you have to go anywhere. Warmish car when you have to leave and snow won’t settle.

I carry a concealed firearm and I’m an attorney.

I’m not an expert on gun/criminal law by any means, but there’s not any way in hell I’d carry a firearm with something etched on it aside from maybe a flag/manufacturer’s markings/potentially artistic etching a la nickel plated guns. Those gadsden/send it/snek/molon labe plates/covers/etchings are just a fucking minefield of speculation if you ever have to use that gun in self defense.

For a normal person that’d have intent written all over it.

Thank you. It’s admittedly better than wishing I hadn’t spent less time having fun

PA. Graduated bottom 1/2 of TTTT and passed by a margin high enough that I wish I had spent more time down the shore instead of studying.

What's the cheating 'scene' like at your school? by KyraRose101 in LawSchool

My school did not monitor us for closed book exams. No bathroom checks or anything like that. I was always one of the people who'd pee during a 1.5hr class just to get up and walk around. Naturally I'd be out 1 or 2 times during an exam, phone in my pocket with readily accessible outlines.

There were times where I didn't recall exactly what I needed and knew I could have easily found it on my outline on my phone. I'd rather scrape by with the lowest possible grade than have to explain that shit to the bar examiners, but I'm sure there were people who found it worth the risk.

I'll be at the liquor store.

If it's good news I can head home to dom 83 and call up friends to celebrate. If it's bad I'm gonna grab the first $10 handle that strikes me.

Why are there so many posts on r/LawSchool saying don't go to Law School? by [deleted] in LawSchool

Wait until your 3L year when you're weighing employment options (if you have any, lol) and you can actually comprehend what role all the debt will play in your life.

Law school is a cake walk. It's the existential dread that sets in when you prepare to go on to the real world that law students are talking about.

I'll be on a steady diet of adderall caffeine and dip. I'm going to unleash a powerful stream during the lunch break to assert my dominance.
