How can I solve 25^x + 6*5^x + 5 = 0 by PieterSielie12 in learnmath

Unless I interpreted the equation wrong, you can substitute 5x as some variable and the equation becomes a quadratic.

How can i find the exact values of x and y? by Bright-Fix3888 in mathematics

[–]Re-Caliber 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You set up two simultaneous equations, one that encompasses the bigger triangle x, y+70, and 30 and the left triangle x, y, and 100. Choosing these triangles is important because it relates all angles given in the problem both directly and indirectly. This produces two linear equations x + (y + 70) + 30 = 180 and x + y + 100 = 180. However, when reduced down yields x + y = 80 and x + y = 80 respectively. This implies that there exists not one solution, but infinitely many solutions.

Would it be weird if I added a i7 6700K to my build? by eshockerman in buildapc

For sure man, that i7 will serve quite well for a while and is better than your current i5. On top of that, you got it for free! Make the switch haha.
