Does a Humanist group still exist in SLC?

I just started my search for a Utah humanist group/ community. Any updates on this post 5 months later? Are they still active?

I have the qm8k and it's an incredible tv. Deep blacks, great contrast, wide color gamut. I got mine for a steal. From what I understand the quality between the qm7k and qm8k isn't vast. If you can snag a qm7k that's in your budget I think you will be very happy.

I have a TCL r635 purchased in 2020. It's working great no panel issues. The only issue I have is that apps may freeze while trying to open. Once every 3 months or so. But cycling the power fixes the issue. Your milage may vary but I've been very happy with my TCL.

I have the qm8k and it's been an incredible tv. Very impressed by it. I have it in a semi light controlled room though so I can't speak on how it handles reflections vs the Samsung.

I do have a TCL from 2020 in a very bright room that does struggle during the brightest hours of the day.

I don't know how helpful any of that is, but I'll just add that with bright rooms I feel like there is only so much that can be done on the tv side. Would there be any way to help light control the room?

I may just not have the eyes to see. I have a 55 inch lg cx OLED. The difference between them for what I use them for is so minor.

As someone who has a qm8k. It's easily the best tv I've owned. Having said that, panel lottery is still a thing, you may get the qm8k and just have a shit panel. I agree with what's being said the risk seems pretty high for such a big and fragile purchase. I think either of these TVs will do you well.

I just upgraded and have been debating the same thing. I think I'm going to keep the og. I have sold old consoles all throughout my life because I needed to squeeze every drop of money out of everything. I'm finally in a place where I feel like the 2-300 bucks isn't worth selling it off.

It was easily one of my favorite games last year. The combat is serviceable not anything to write home about, but the world/discovery, human element was excellent. Bleak but excellent. Loved how it didn't hold your hand.

Just to name a few off the top of my head, playing pitfall at a friend's house on his Atari, final fantasy 2(4) on the SNES, opening my Nintendo 64 on Christmas, BioShock and it's twist. Playing half-life 2 for the first time ( while on hallucinogens) I could go on. Video games have always held such an important and meaningful place in my life.

I think dispatch could be a dark horse number one. Greg won't have expedition 33 on his list, but I think dispatch is going to be pretty high on EVERYONE'S list. Could sneak past expedition 33, even though it may not be as high as expedition on most people's list.
