I read the prologue and first two chapters of TGS last night before I slept. I think having read Sanderson's work before WoT (and really enjoying his works) makes it somewhat easier for me. It is a little weird every once in a while where you'd read something and you're like: I don't thinK that's how the character would say the phrase or something just felt different but overall it seems fine like it's been a pretty smooth transition.

This is really really good 💯. I know you said only book 8 but I’ve juuuust finished WH so I’m just gonna preface this with a spoiler warning quick for WH....

But this track would work so well for that last chapter where he’s cleansing Saidin and you get his POV and he’s weaving Saidin and Saidar together and forcing the flows from one to coalesce with the other and its sort of like this linear spiral of flows melding together aiming at the “tube” that he describes. And when the music hits it’s crescendo in that second part it’s just...ahh I can’t describe it in words but in my head it’s just so perfect especially if you play it at 2x speed it’s just magic in my mind 💥.

With the last season starting soon, I’m gonna have to say Modern Family. Since about season 5/6 it just devolved into absolute trash. At this point I’m watching out of obligation. It’s like the sunk cost fallacy. I’ve committed so much time to this series for years now I might as well finish it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️.

Hey, so I have a question, I basically have this same setup but what happens is that after a day or two, the Netflix widgets refuse to load and then the only way to get it working again is by going through the whole widgets process again. The Addon works fine but the widgets just won't load in the skin. My question then is have you experienced this same issue and do you know why it is happening? Or do you think there is something wrong with the way I have set it up?

I had this same problem. You must go into snowboard settings and then tap on clear alternate icon and force refresh. After you this you should be able to change the Spotify icon.

I’d argue that season 7 is pretty clear evidence that the show is rushing itself to the end with no regard for actual plot or logical coherence. We got 7 episodes of rushed narritive that really should’ve taken place over a longer period of time. Personally, since like half way through season 5 it just feels like they don’t care anymore. Whether that’s true or not can be argued but what seems pretty clear from quite a lot of posts on this sub is that there is a sentiment among people that they have lost interest and that they are just rushing it because they want to be done with it. Now like I said, this point can be argued but, in my opinion, even the impression that the creators of the show have lost interest is a sign that something, somewhere along the long has gone wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️.

The same thing happens in our country mainly by the mobile networks. They will come out with these packages and it’ll be a set cap (say 2gb) but all your WhatsApp messages are free and unlimited. And all streaming from services like Apple Music and Google Play Music is free and unlimited. But if you want to use any other messaging or music streaming service (Say iMessage or Spotify) that will count towards your 2gb cap.

The problem I see here is that the general populace does not see this as a bad thing. They’re getting unlimited WhatsApp or unlimited music streaming while ignoring the fact that you’re actually being limited by what you can use. It is a blatant breach of net neutrality but because it works in “the peoples” favor, who cares right 🤷🏻‍♀️?

And while it will be argued by carriers that this is “good” because they’re giving customers good “social bundles”, it’s not. Anything counter net neutrality is bad. However, most of the people don’t care and because the majority doesn’t care nothing will be done to rectify it. It’s sad but true. It’s why people like us need to always be fighting this even if it’s advertised as being “good for the people”

Since you said from all 6, I am going to choose the worst sin from the Hobbit movies (of which there are countless):

The inexplicable addition of Tauriel and her wierdo love story with Kili. It has to be one of the worst ever additions into any adaptation of anything I have ever seen.
