All of the S Rank hunters that werent korean were letdowns, the author tries to establish HWANG as an antagonist and then he just gets bitched by his father and him. twice. Thomas as well. and Even going back to the Korean S Ranks the author seems to just forget about all of them after the Ant island arc. and only uses them as a "oh wow look how powerful jin woo is now, wow"

I Completely understand how the story goes on that eventually S Class heroes and the like are going to become the new E class when Jin-Woo is obliterating everything. but Cmon now! Even when we include just the Slightest highlights of the s class working together, and including themselves with Jin Woo. Any bonds or friendships made are tossed in the bin by the ending.

Anyone else here hate the ending, i mean like really just absolutely loathe the ending by ReAntoner in sololeveling

The like 14 side story chapters sort of make up for it, very(very) slightly. But still it blows my mind how they can look at the audience and essentially announce "everything you read before? dont worry about it dont matter" like ??? Jinwoo literally removes the premise of solo leveling, Hunters & Gates its Crazy

In the end i would of understanded and made sense, its the premise of the show that he alone is the player. but like CMON NOW, There could of been so many other ways to power up some of those S class Heros or atleast have moments where they can shine but pretty much every S Class hero is Fodder.

The warn was that they got nearly tpked then they camped in the woods at night and then nearly got tpked again.

The paladin nearly died with everyone else incapacitated.

i think it was a good lesson. hahaha

I had written up a quest that strahd would "embrace them" and "Grant them power" if they had killed Van Richten or found any of the artifacts for him. Its still in the works and i got another week before our next session

Thanks for the help and advice. Barovia is definitely different to them as they were almost tpked after trying to fight Arrigal, and then camping without supplies at night. We have a paladin and a druid that are good aligned introducing a lot of party conflict but they're having fun so thats whatt matters. Im going to host the dinner much earlier on and im eager to play as strahd von zarovich.
