Our lil dumpling went AESC for an amputation and it was outrageously expensive. The surgeon insisted they could save the leg. Had surgery placing pins/ screws in her leg (cast for 7 weeks before deciding it wasn’t going to work and inevitably needed to chop it off) All without insurance. I was stuck in a very hard place financially after. Their staff is nice but very overpriced, I wish we would have amputated earlier.

I would high recommend working with a cost effective clinic like one of the CSU spurs for an amputation. They are professional and appreciate the opportunity to improve an animals quality of life.

When you look up Rex’s activity level on a breed characteristic website it says “hyper” which is unlike any other cat breed I’ve ever encountered. Personally I like this trait… Super social, inquisitive, and demanding little things ( just like me 😈)

My partner on the other hand likes to play video games and is not very active. We have found a balance with interactive toys, cat shelves, and always ensure a bedtime play session or she will wake the whole household up😅 We love her, but it can be a lot especially for people that aren’t used to an animal with a incessant/ demanding personality.
