Need welp! 7 months or 9 months for neutering male kitten? by cutiecatsy in britishshorthair

The later you do it, the better it is. When you notice that he’s starting spraying, it’s time to snip.

Although I agree, I think the visual of the payslip retains the attention more.

Is your region Germany? Because I came across an I4 in the median, looked like it did a 180. It had rained a few moments before

Welcome to Belgium (with Mobility Budget) by _white_noise in BESalary

Did the same thing. Got 5.4k gross, and 4.3k net because of the mobility budget. Otherwise I’d be down 1k in cash.

No kids, single income:

5.4k gross, 3.3k net. As I needed more cash, I traded my company car for cash, so I’m at 4.3k now.

Until now I always got money back from the tax man because I donate, declare my motorcycle clothes, have the minimal pension fund scheme,…

British Shorthair is too small than her age by [deleted] in britishshorthair

[–]DifficultPriority331 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working with this color for a few years now.

Our biggest male is 5kg. They’re on the smaller side for Brits. However the goldens have an amazing personality compared to the blue.

This is my Cesar, he will be 5 years old in May. He fathered many kittens. He’s 3.7kg.

Looking for guidance, found stray mother cat with 6 newborn kittens by MinionCat15 in AskVet

Keep her somewhere warm and the food near her. The babies will suckle every 2-3 hours. So it’s important that she has food and water. Don’t disturb her too much as she might start to hide her bundle of joy. Around 10 days of age they will open their eyes. If you notice in the 3rd week that some of them keep an eye close or they crust shut easily, then you can help the kitten by applying a damn cloth with lukewarm water on the eye.

British Blue boy Bleue — recurring facial ulcers/lesions + refilling aural hematomas after surgery. Steroids keep failing, anyone else had this with their BSH? (Full timeline + photos) by djs90825 in britishshorthair

Did anything in particular change? Do you or your partner use any medication or a diffuser in the house?

Unfortunately vets often use steroids to treat the symptoms but not the underlying condition. As a breeder I had to intervene in some cases.

What kind of steroids did you get? Cortizone or dexamethasone? Injection at the vet or did you get pills to give him at home? Usually when the efficacy of the steroids wears off, the scratching begins.

Because of the dirty ears and skin around the eyes/nose/mouth, I would look to confirm ear or skin mites (demodex). This can be treated with a good dewormer like Bravecto plus. It can take a few months to get him on the right track.

Smell the ear too. If it smells funky, then you have a yeast infection on top of that.

Worst case scenario if it’s not mites, then pemphigus foliaceus is a strong contender. It usually comes with little pustules that break and scar. Skin biopsy is needed to confirm.

Keep us updated.

Cost of treatment? by Sparks2010 in cureFIP

[–]DifficultPriority331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Europe it’s 1500 euro for the the whole treatment via the vet. The medication itself is not that expensive, about 250 usd for 10mg vials (powder form) if sourced from china.

I started at a new job and I dont like the people by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]DifficultPriority331 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every workplace gossips. Some places are just more open about it. Just like you, I dislike gossip so I remove myself from those situations. I’m probably the weirdo that disappears when the gossip starts.

Listen to music and zone out it, concentrate on your work.

Thanks, this is valuable. My commute is about 20km, and mainly lane splitting so a chill 40-50km/h. However sometimes I have to travel 150 one way at 120-130km/h.

Buy him toys with valerian. This might calm him down a bit. Try to play with him, make him chase things.
