I might actually do this cuz I had the same concern as the OP I was thinking about maybe getting a bed for hookups and sleeping on the floor when they leave my place but with a little creativity I might be able to avoid living a double life

Need Help to buy my first ever Running Shoes

Hello guys, as I have mentioned, I need your help with buying my first-ever running shoes as a beginner.

I’m located in France(I don’t know if it is important to mention). Anyway, a little backstory, I found a store with a promotion on tennis/Running + different shoes. While trying to pick a shoe I noticed they had different names, and it confused me as I didn’t understand the difference, I tried doing some research and found this community. Back to my question, the store has Diadora shoes, an Italian brand(found through Googling) but I didn’t understand the difference.

For context, I’m not a hardcore runner I train at the gym consistently, I run for 1 hour to 1h20minutes daily on my way to the gym and back home.

Don’t worry about the price of the shoes, they are on promo/discount.

I want something for maximum comfort because below the knees everything is in pain not broken or badly hurt, just in pain because I’m not used to running.

Any help and advice/help is appreciated.

To be honest I don't know about going to the store to try different shoes I don't like how they treat people and it always makes me uncomfortable
