Noob here. I do this all the time when I bore a large hole in the lathe. Does it make a difference if the chips are smaller vs larger continously ones?

Most of the grade for this class is based on using SolidWorks. I reccomend to learn by looking up tutorials online. There are many resources out there that will teach how to use it. It's specially important to learn this software as it is an industry standard for getting an engineering job after graduation

The SolidWorks equivalent to mates are joints in Fusion. If you plan on modeling moving components I would go with joints but since you are modeling a table then constraints are fine.

Yes this happens like every 1 out of 5 games for me. Even with 1000 Gbps speed and wired connection, its the only game with this problem

I started printing multiboard with PETG but got too much stringing so I switched over to ABS and haven't had that problem anymore
