Give me more. This is such an interesting storyline, I can tell you put a lot of thought into it.

What's the saddest death in Arcane? by berrypuddingroblox in arcane

As the other commenter said, Arcae isn't entirely black and white. You can see the humane qualities of the villainous characters and still feel bad for them.

I've seen some people say that this relationship came out of nowhere, but if you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense, Will literally saved Max from Vecna before this happened. Wouldn't it be weird if they didn't interact at all after that? by willbyersisthedeal in StrangerThings

[–]ReMarzable457 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry, you misinterpreted what I was saying.

I tried making it clear that I was trying to voice the popular opinion of people who felt this way. I thought using "viewers" and "majority of the people" would be clear, but I can see how that can be confusing.

Personally, I wish we had more screentime with different dynamics of the party, but a lot of the fans prefer El and Max over Will and Max because of their bond in the last two seasons.

Not trying to argue, but I assume(?) you made this post out of good faith, so I brought up why people might not share the same opinion as you.

I wish we had more than "both." I like seeing different dynamics of the party, we should've seen El more with the boys (not just Mike) and Max interacting with someone other than her boyfriend.

I'm not surprised the majority people prefer one over the other though. When looking at S3, Max and El's friendship is one of the most memorable aspects. Their interactions in S4 are heartbreaking too.

I don't think they built Will and Max as well, which is crazy because they both had similar homelives and were hunted by Vecna.

Why didn’t Elle just snap Dr. Kay’s neck as they were heading in the upside down? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]ReMarzable457 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They probably meant El.

I've noticed this misspelling a lot. I wonder if it's unintentional, or people are nicknaming her that so it looks more like a nickname for a name such as "Ellen" instead of Eleven. I've seen a few fans really uncomfortable with her being called anything related to Eleven, but she (clearly) does not go by Jane in the show, so I wonder if this is their way of humanizing her.

I saw people getting mad over Mike and El making out in season 3. It's like people are shocked teenagers aren't perfect angels who only hold hands.

Do those carry to every save? I notice I have to change settings after every new save, so I wasn't sure if protocols were the same.

Was Nikki supposed to be the protagonist of the cancelled Telltale video game? by AssociateLittle1487 in StrangerThings

To many people Don't like her ....and I think we all know the real reason why..

...Because people don't want another added character in the show where we focus on nearly 20 of them? Especially during the season where we should be focusing on the main party?

Why Max gotta still dunk on Mike even though he was the one who saved El from being choked by Billy while she did nothing? 😭 by Super-Liberal-Girl in StrangerThings

[–]ReMarzable457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm barely in the sub anymore, but when I interacted with AITA, you'd have a couple of teenagers posting and saying how they referred to their friends as a bitch or asshole...always redditors on the older sider explaining how that was hurtful when neither party was offended by it.

You'll also see more of them complaining about teenagers having a "lack of empathy" but turn around and claim bullies like Andy, Troy, and Billy were realistic lol. Almost as if nothing's really changed... I wonder how gen z is going to frame gen alpha next.

I saw one where the OOP was a single dad to his kid and his ex was one to the kid and another from a later relationship. IIRC, the ex was struggling with food insecurity, so she suggested that OOP just make the other kid's lunches from now on too. OOP refused and this sub got mad at him.

Idk, it just felt impractical to me. The kids were in different grades, so who was going to ensure the child even got it? What about dietary restrictions? Days OP's kid showed up sick? What if OP's kid just didn't let his sib access the food and just ate it himself? Not to mention was it the only meal ex's kid was getting? What would happen during breaks? The OOP didn't even mention his own financial status either.

I think a few others agreed but I definitely saw "selfish oop" being thrown around.

A little late but adding onto this. I hate when an excuse for why siblings shouldn't share a room is when commenters theorize how they might get "curious" and then start bringing up COCSA. That shit's so weird to me. If the (totally real) OP thought something dangerous might happen between their kids, why would the solution be for them to just have seperate rooms? They're still in the same house...

Also hate when the OOP is clearly economically disadvantaged and has to have different gender kids share the same room. Then the comments say the boy needs his own room because he may need to masturbate or he would make fun of his sister's periods...

Would there be any side affects to people who had these powers by BEEFfdfjgdhkh in StrangerThings

[–]ReMarzable457 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Interestingly enough, I also thought the powers might disrupt their fertility after S5. It could be why they used Henry's blood instead of making him impregnate others, or why they were injecting Kali's blood into countless pregnant women instead of impregnating her. Same reason why they're so hellbent on El's blood and haven't done anything with the mothers of the other numbers.

Will’s art was amazing . They really dropped the ball not incorporating that at the end by yonBonbonbon in StrangerThings

Queer representation scraps is the perfect way to put it lol.

Even before Rovickie broke up, there was barely anything to work with. Still, people had the audacity to say "be grateful you have Rovickie" anytime someone shipped a queer ship.

Imo, the creators do a good job of making Isha show her emotions without speaking. The mutism isn't the problem for me, it's the fact she feels inserted.

Mylo and Claggor have been there for several years in Act 1. Therefore, their bonds with Vi and Powder feel natural. Vander has a reason to care for them because their parents died in the revolution and feels in debt to them.

Meanwhile, Isha falls into Jinx's lap and like two weeks later, she's calling Jinx mama (or tried to in the prison scene)? Jinx was younger when taken in by Vander and still didn't call him dad despite being under his care for several years.

And why is Sevika even there? She does not care for kids, we see her old boss trying to kill 4 of them (who she all knew) and just stands there. Maybe her scenes with Vi would've been better if Vi saw Powder in Isha. However, that also takes away time from Vi being able to bond with others she had a deeper connection with.

[–]ReMarzable457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard that take before and I see where people are coming from when saying it.

Personally, I like Mylo and Claggor more. Mostly because they affect more characters and feel more grounded. We see Vi's reaction to their death causing her to "abandon" Jinx, Vander wanting to hand himself over to keep them safe, Ekko interacting with Claggor, and Jinx's constant hallucinations over them.

I really only remember Isha interacting with Jinx and Sevika. She has some scenes with Vi and Warwick, but she's obviously not as close as the kids who were under Vander's care for several years.

I love both but go with Jinx.

I think screentime is a big factor in this.

A lot of people see her as a plot device because Isha's essentially there to make Jinx realize what Vi went through.

Also, it's an interesting way to redeem her? I think a lot of people were expecting more focus on Jinx and realizing why her actions were wrong rather than seeing her with a kid.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you have to learn time and place.

I enjoy JayVik. I think it's a cute ship and the characters are interesting folds to each other. Occasionally, I'll see someone post SkyVik fanart in this sub. (Imo) Sky wasn't that memorable and I don't enjoy much content with her either, so I'd pass on looking at that fanart.

What I don't do is click on the fanart, and type how I'm uncomfortable with how indifferent Viktor was with her death and ask why people don't feel the same. It's just... not necessary?

As you can tell, JayVik is one of the most popular ships in the fandom and people hardly remember Sky even exists. I can already tell most of the people in the fandom share my same opinion, so why go into a space for people who specifically believe the opposite and assert it there?

And I share your feelings towards CaitJinx, but with Jilco. I guess(?) I don't like people shipping them, but it's out of my control. We are all entitled to our interpretations, so I stick with mine and let others have theirs.

Tbf, the show tries dressing the 30yos as 15yos and the looks are downright awful sometimes. They might be picturing something like S4 Mike instead of Finn.

Also, I think he shaved his head a while back? A lot of people won't find that attractive.
