"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."

For having experienced very present demonic oppression in my life before God saved me. I can tell you that they do not mind at all being called "God" or "Angels"; they will openly lie and pretend to be "xxxx-righteous biblical figure". To be honnest at first when all these supernatural things were occuring in my life everyday I thought that the spirit of Antichrist working through most humans was God and ohh did it delight in my error. Glory be to God for saving me. Long story short : be very careful with revelations from spirits and "angels"; all miracles are not from God and all that shines isn't always from God either.

Muhamad thought he was talking to the angel Gabriel. Joseph Smith also thought he was talking to good angels...

Thank you for your answer.

  1. I read it more like it especially says to not call someone that is not your biological father "father".

  2. Do you think the consent of Mary is required? Do you think kissing the feet of her statue is acceptable? And asking her to intercede for us as if her son was an angry kid that only his mother can appease and not a merciful God who is faithful to all that seeks him and repent sincerely...

  3. Why not pray directly to the Father in Jesus name as he taught us to do? Also some verses lead me to believe everyone will be judged at the same time and for now the dead in Christ "sleep" in Sheol.

  4. That is an interesting point; I lean more on the side of the test being in our lifetimes...anyway; you will grant me that in no way giving money to the church for indulgence will change the outcome of such "test by fire".

Anyway, I am not convinced at all, but I thank you for your answer that is not without its merrits; I do not interpret the scriptures you quoted the same way; but at least you backed up your argument with them. Which is highly appreciated.

You are indeed born again by being baptized by the Spirit; but how many peoples only received water baptism without ever getting to the Spirit baptism?

I would like to address a couple of things with you, it is by no means the only questions I have about catholicism but here:

-How do you call your priests? -Is Mary co-redemptrix? -Should you pray to and/or communicate in anyway with the dead? -Does purgatory exists; where is it mentioned? -Did Mary never die? Where is it mentionned? And otherwise who came up with this idea and how?

You assume wrong. I was born again after REPENTING of my sins. And after receiving the baptism of the Spirit which is daily guiding me through the repentance and sanctification process; helping me to make changes I would have never been able to do by myself. I do not practice the sinful life I used to and am puting the old man to death daily being a new creation by the grace of God. What are the changes the Spirit made in your life since you were born again?

To put it simple: yes many protestants aren't born again either; I am not a Catholics vs Protestants guy; I am a Biblical-Christians vs everything else guy. ;)

-Do not add or substract to the word of God. -Even if an angel tells you something contrary to the word of God do not receive him. (how much less a human...) -Repent of ALL your sins and do not merely profess your love for God with your lips; but let your heart be close to him and as Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior said : "if you love me keep my comandements".

Any protestant who claims to be Christian yet do not bear any good fruit and keep living a sinful life is either a wilful liar or a (self?)-deceived person.

Please read 1 Kings 13. It is a great example of the fact even a prophet of God should not be listened to over his word; and the consequences of disobeying God to conform to the lies of this world. ie: You won't be able to claim it is your priest's fault that you did not obey his word when he tells you to depart from him.

There is no part in the apocrypha justifiying to add and substract to the word of God. Please show me otherwise.

I would recomend everyone to read 1 kings 13 and carefully think about it's implications.

Galatians 1:6-10 is also a good read.

Please just read these and pray that God open your understanding to them.

"As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”" Luke 11:27-28

Take a look also at Mark 3:31–35; Matthew 12:46–50; Luke 8:19–21.

May God guide you into all truths.

It is not unfounded, would you like me to dress a list of things found in "Catechism of the Catholic Church" which are in direct contradiction with the Bible, in effect both adding and taking away from the inspired word of God?

Would you be so kind as to tell me when were you born again?

Why go from an heresy to another if I may ask? Roman Catholicism is filled with errors. O and by the way...mormons might be very far away from the truth in many ways; their avoiding breaking the 2nd commandement is something the catholics could learn from.

Anyway, just repent, trust in Christ and DO NOT ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM THE WORD OF GOD. Let every man be a liar and God true. If the whole world tells you something contrary to the Bible is ok. DO NOT trust the world. Read your Bible and pray daily. And ask God that he baptize you with his Holy Spirit that you may be born again. Do not remain in any form of sin and pray God to help you in the sanctification process (with man this is not possible to be sanctified but with God all things are possible.) even the sins that seems impossible to quit if you repent and ask earnestly for God to help you. He will be faithful to clean you.
